1 ht.of oil palm at its peak production , will give you 30 tons of ffb per year, not 4-5 tons. Plantations usually sell their production forward as a hedge so high prices for 3-6 months may be meaningless.

I will avoid op counters due to low cpo prices which is expected to go on for the next few years.M'Sian cpo stocks will start to go up again soon so prices will go down.As it is nowadays it is common to see fruits rotting away due to a glut in production in Indo.& Msia. As the Indo.rupiah drops their cpo will be cheaper.Nobody knows how much stocks they have.If you think Indo.has huge plantations wait till you see the ones in Africa. What about PNG?Here they only replant after 20 years of harvesting due to their lower cost. The problem is overplanting with no new usage.

Iching..totally true.Look, OP plantations are everywhere.Look at Indo.,how many ht.of oil palm they have, nobody knows...How much cpo stock they have, again nobody knows....How are prices going to go up?...Africa is also planting alot, pls.do not forget that a palm once harvesting starts, harvesting can go on, for 20 years. What about S.America, anyone knows? A lot of big boys are already in Africa, and they are planting like.....wa.... Frankly,we have been over planting op for quite some time now...Look,what happen to the talk about using cpo to mix with diesel....Unless we can find a way to use more cpo, prices are not expected to rise maybe for the next few years.
