The announcement may have been overshadowed by the emergency declaration. I guess the news will start picking up more soon. The Pfizer's vaccine, which will come in Feb, will be controlled by KKM - prioritizing severe cases and high-risk individuals (front liners, medical professionals, etc.). The Sinovacs, while a portion would also be prioritized for KKM's discretion (for disbursement to areas with logistical and cold storage challenges), is currently the only choice available for the public.
Come Feb and Mar, when the infected rates are expected to be higher, I'm anticipating more momentum.

The efficacy rate depends on how the clinical trials are conducted, hence why you'd get varying efficacy results. Bear in mind, both Pfizer's and AstraZeneca's vaccines also have had different efficacy results. Butantan opted for more extensive clinical pool sample criteria, hence why the rates are much lower.
I don't intend to insert any political remarks but given the current global situation where the whole world is striving to secure vaccine supply, I think Malaysia is doing a not so bad job. Let's just hope there are no hiccups and all Malaysians will have access to the vaccines.

Think that's actually KWAP, not EPF

"Strongest" would be an exaggeration. "Stronger" is more like it. IMHO

Similar to my view but I think the upside would not be that apparent in the short term (next quarterly report), but perhaps another couple of quarters in 2016. It's one of the strongest fundamental long-term financial picks.

Inadvertently there are going to be some profit taking but the bullish trend remains solid. Hopefully Inari could go 4++ this week.

Generally, market is very cautious. Insufficient magnitude to lift prices.

Can you please elaborate, cancan? Thanks.

Thanks for info, cancan. Great looking car but my concerns are:
1. Price is a bit steep compared to its peers, e.g. ASX, HRV
2. Launch is on 8 Dec and any significant boost by CX-3 unlikely to impact the 2Q reports scheduled on 10 Dec.
3. Best case if this model is very well received, Mazda needs to figure out how to supply to MY progressively - CBU import from Japan is very expensive supply chain model for them

Ex-date should be on 25th Nov'15, right?

Fundamentally strong company but seems very minimal overall market activities to lift up the prices.

I'm not aware of any announcement, but at the end of CIMB's daily newsletter (Daybreak), you can find the calendar schedule before the disclaimers.

I personally think this is a quite solid and fundamentally strong company. While EPF's recent bulk purchases may be the cause for the price increase, other foreign institutional investors might look at BJAUTO via similar lenses once they come back to MY.

Don't think pump and dump is an intended strategy by KWSP, or any other pension fund, for that matter. Mega pension funds typically, apart from having their own internal fund managers, do appoint external fund managers to trade on their behalf - these fund managers do work independently. That could be the reason why sometimes it may seem like they purchase a huge block only to be sold the day after, where in actuality, those two transactions were by different parties acting on behalf of one.

From CIMB's calendar, INARI Q1 is scheduled on the 12th Nov'15

I'm not sure if they're going to manufacture the vaccines but from the announcement, they managed to procure ready vaccines to be used and in bulk (for the fill and finish). Bear in mind that we're in a pandemic and that many high economic activities are under MCO. My guess is that the bulk of vaccines they've procured will also be allocated and prioritized to KKM and private hospitals.
Don't see this as a race between Pharma and Duopharma as even with PFE's and Sinovac's vaccines secured, we're still short to cover the target 80% population. And each person will require 2 doses. Profitability wise, this is a good additional mid-term revenue source for PHARMA and I don't see it going away anytime soon. Even with other vaccines supply, the fill and finish approach is still the most practical to reduce overall vaccines cost to users. I highly doubt PFE or others would allow manufacturing locally and not sure if it's feasible to transport huge bulk of PFE for fill and finish (imagine to ensure huge tanks at -80 degrees - such technological challenge)
I'm not privy to Duopharma's progress in securing vaccine supplies besides this old post. Anyone has updated information? It's kinda odd since KJ was seen as leading the negotiations for both companies but only announced for PHARMA. Did Duopharma's negotiation fell apart?
