sskutu .. big big diff between trader and investor !! for a short-term trader to aim for the investor's price target is very very risky cuz price may need to go thru' many many waves UP and DOWN to reach home-run ... between traders also got so many diff types ps be aware !

duit .. how are u going to trade this hsif ??? back to the price channel on daily and supported by 20ma on weekly ... hit the lower channel and bounce up !! are there more push factors to lift her to the higher channel ??

fardar .. our job as trader is not supposed to call bottom or top !! we need confirmation to trade ... it's a cliche but always remember low can be lower TILL we see something has changed on the chart ... to long, we always look for higher low or retest resistance as support or retest trendline etc etc

fardar .. go to the weekly chart !! draw some strong support zones on your chart and then see if there is any reversal candle / pattern on daily once price reaches that zone ... u shud only put on your alert cap once this happens !

not in this morning to see anything .. now monitor closely for the next signal but most likely will give it a miss since i day-trade !! i like signal that comes in the morning and not late afternoon :(

Connie...I believe you will jump in if you read the China PMI news about highest in 15 months..... I also see that and also US steadily green I jump in.....

fardar .. why are u interested in vivo ?? any good news to play ?? based on TA, there is a H&S on weekly and the neckline is broken .. daily also still dipping and 20ma is halting any upward movement .. then, i go to my trading timeframe which is 1H, i won't take position if price is below 20ma and till i see the downtrend structure is broken ! hope it helps ..

goody99 .. is the FA TP for this counter super high (perhaps this wave cannot reach this TP) ?? in terms of TA, i wud rather wait for retracement .. don't quite like to see the divergence on higher time frame charts !

there is a H&S pattern on drb daily .. today broke the neckline and so the target shud be round about 1.2ish which coincides with weekly target !! let's monitor first .. when rchi is confident to take position then we also be 1000% alert :)

aha as with fgv, not sure if drb will dip to around 20ma on weekly ! that's going to be like around 1.20 ...

oh rchi and evel looking at drb .. i also want to see :)

a pro trader posted an article after reading these two books :-
1) “Trading In The Zone” by Mark Douglas
2) “The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A FXXX” (highly recommended - by Mark Manson) .. LOL i think i will like the 2nd book !!!

basically, there are two important messages from these books that can transform how we think about trading :-
1) You are responsible for everything that happens to you (and how you deal with it)
2) Anytime anything can happen

u are most welcomed rob .. the underlying trend is downside bias esp when the lower price channel on daily is broken but becuz i day-trade on 15m chart, i have to be very careful .. ie i have to get out before EOD if i see weakness on 15m just so i won't be forced to keep overnite :) and if a signal comes too late, then i will avoid completely no matter who-says-what .. it's a fun toy but one must really be clear with one's game plan .. if u read in the forums, there are so many different approaches adopted by different traders but we shud stick to ours and consistently apply it to be better :) so rob, what is your approach ? mind to share ? i am always curious how fellow traders trade this very infamous toy :)

wah there are so many channels :) the one called swing trading sounds interesting cuz i like to swing !! sorry i can't rate them cuz have never been to one but all i can say u gotta find one that suits your trading style .. else it's also good to use them as filter cuz they wud have done their homework reading the charts before recommending .. so, what u need to do is to pull up the chart of the counter u are interested in and check if it meets all the criteria of your own trading strategy :)
