hi juni .. somehow i feel more comfy with these charts for short-term view !! eg a lot of traders calling to buy when price is at peak of m15 with a -D ... this is almost 100% guaranteed that price will retrace and so i will wait for better entry !! not trying to catch bottom but merely a better entry price and so i can earn something err not much from the fractal waves :)

wanone ... u are most welcomed !! it took me so long to come to terms with the fact that entry based on TA is only 10% important .. risk management is 90% .. we traders always scout around for the holy grail entry method .. but we fail to realize that managing risk is in fact much more significant cuz NOBODY knows how the market is going to react .. traders only use confluence of TA signals to play a high probability (not guaranteed) trades :) some traders may have mediocre entry method but they manage risk well and so can survive in the market ... so, don't be too bogged down by waves and what-nots k ??

sorry i always talk m15/m60 cuz this is my trading time frame !!

juni .. i am looking at the 15min and 60min chart ! 20ma still acting as dynamic res on 15min .. so long as this is so then i won't touch !! pulling further away from the band .. weakening momentum but building a base to go up or down ?? :)

MyEg has probably completed its 5 waves n is now on its corrective wave down. The Andrews Pitchfork structure shows MyEg clearly on the down trend.

duit ah .. agree or disagree is just personal preference !!! i just personally prefer pristine's way :) say u like versace does not mean i have to right ?? however, if u appear in bloomberg then i tell everyone 'wah see i have always agreed to his trading style' ... LOLOL

kitty .. i look for ta signals (not period) to identify reversal trades ! say if a counter has dropped between 162F and 200F, there is a high prob for a reversal ... more so if this drop is at a strong support level on higher time frame like daily / weekly ... and last but not least when there is a divergence (preferably double) from momentum indicator on the last downleg !

duit ... as trader we must know our strength and weakness !! if say i can't process that kind of large data to make a trading decision, then i won't force myself cuz in the end i will be dead meat :( so, i just try to trade based on whatever i am comfy with !! aiya after all, trading is my hobby and i don't aspire to be a professional trader ...

duit .. he is trading based on support n resistance !! this is a common strategy adopted by some ... no fancy ta indicators ... no waves ... again, no matter what level as long as he makes his profits :)

good morning rchi .. thanks for the song !! yes in the mood to greet 'hi mike' already :) must start practicing some aussie slang ! wah, lately mr cp teh was being 'bashed' up like mad ... his sharing on life struggles, i appreciate ... his preaching on stock market crash, i find rather boring already ... his uploading of blog-posts on i3 is clear cut mah ie foc a&p reaching out to a larger audience :) but when it comes to his trading strategy, is it not ok ???
1) he plays breakout, buy upon breakout and sell at 1st resistance
2) he plays reversal, buy at bottom and sell at 1st resistance (note his reversal play is only limited to all the 'taiko' and not any chapalang counters)
3) this is the trait of a SWING trader; aiming for one swing
4) simple n clear-cut strategy if applied consistently can make good profits from the market yes ?
5) he does not play risky instruments like warrants be it stock or index warrants
6) at the very least, his methodology is 'let profit run at least one swing and cut losses fast' (and not take profit fast and let losses run !! LOL)
7) consistency and risk management are the keys to longevity as far as traders are concerned

anyways, never mind about mr teh's strategy i follow rchi's midas touch :)
