Wat u say is a general scenario which does not apply for Xinquan. Xie paid for the 10 % shares in May then sell 3 mths later. If this is a bribe, then it would be much easier for the boss to just pay him cash undertable n nobody know rather then expose his identity by buy (or given free) then sell in such short time.
There r 3 possible reasons- (a) xie discover something bad which no others discover, (b) he is in urgent need of cash, or (c) he collaborate with the boss to press down the price.
I would (c) is most likely. Xie just join 3 mths ago, is not likely he can gain access to inside info. If he is in urgent need cash, he may offer his share for outside private deal at discount rather than dump them in market.

If u check the transacted volumes during the period when Xie first started selling, u will see Xie's vol form the major bulk, which indicates that fr the time Xie sells till now, there is no other major seller

And is definitely no logic if u r a big holder behind with the intention to dispose shares, u will get some proxy like Xie to throw thus pressing down the price then quietly sell behind.

Hi Fella, the top 15 holders including xie owns >80% of shares, the rest hold small amt. But none of these top 15 except Xie dump shares, if not will be reflected in bursa announcemt. So i think your saying some big shots throwing behind not true. Xinquan main business is shoe sole, gertop now only makes up 10% of business so sure u cant find it in shanghai, but now u can buy it in singapore- check up spore online shop qoo10. Gertop is just growing. U r right to say Xie is a proxy, why he dump share i puzzle. Guess only time will tell

One scenario i can think of is that the sole purpose the boss invite this Xie to join is for him to throw the share (of course the majority is bought back by his proxy) to press down the price so that he can later privatise the undervalued company.
He cant just throw his own share so he has to get this Xie to do the dirty work.

If u discount the sell volume by Xie, the sell down pressure is not much. Once the market see that Xie is no longer selling, price should pick up.

Think of it this way, if boss Xing Quan himself want to sell shares he would offload it (>50%) after ramp up the share price first and not let this Xie sell down then he sell. He himself has invited this idiot to join the company just few months back

I not worry as long as no other major shareholder besides this Xie is dumping stock. As the circumstances this Xie take up the private placement and then sell in such short period of time is suspicious. Who know he maybe in collaboration w the big boss to ramp up & down the share price.

Those who want play this stock better has good holding power.
