the drop in share price has been over done. with new models launching the sales should improve. the sales for chinese vehicles has been struggling too. they been offering discount 4000 to 13000. for vehicle cost less than 140k these discount is a tell tale sign sales is difficult

Not sure if anybody can confirm whether the share price will go up from here, just that looking at the Bermaz current sales figure the share price should be stabilise already unless 3rd quarter got bad surprises come out. Looking at Bermaz upcoming new model launching, outcome should be positive. As for the share price it depend on market acceptance and confidence on Bermaz new products line up

As for EV cars, believe Bermaz's product is quite well line up. Deepal s05 can compete with Haval H6, s07 with BYD sea lion and Xpeng against Tesla. Not forgetting S07 EREV can offer an interesting alternative for potential EV buyer that still has doubt on full EV and with range anxiety. Kia EV3 which going to available soon also is a good contender to BYD Atto 3. EV3 is definitely a better looking than Atto3

The current Bermaz poor performance is because bulk of potential buyer has chosen the more affordable and fresh J7 and Haval 6. But I believe when CX60 and CX80 is available, similar situations will happen at Continental car. Their potential customer may choose mazda cx60 or cx80 because of affordability and similar premium quality like Continental brand

As for 4th quarter many IBs forsee vehicle sale should be ok because civil servant already have their salary revision in Dec. I personally think Bermaz share price can move up once cx60, deepal s05 and s07 and kia sportage sale pick up.

Looking at the latest car registration at JPJ, 3rd quarter result should be better than 2nd quarter. As for the share price maybe around the current price as no real catalyst for auto related stock to move up

The perodua margin is much lesser. All these while CKD cars take advantage on assembly car locally and pay tax according to the manufacturing cost and not on the showroom price

Agreed weixuan0325. CX30, CX 5 and Sportage will continue to battle within the highly competitive mid range SuV segment. But with new OMV tax starting 1st January it will bring the price narrower for Honda CRV, Omoda C9, BMW x series and VW Tiguan. With this price different most likely people will choose the fully imported Mazda CX60 over the rest. Bermaz is just a small player, I don't know what is the combine sales for those CRV and etc but if Mazda manage to sell 6k unit for cx 60 annually, 10k of CX 5 as what happened now, 4k unit of cx30 and maybe 1.5k unit of xpeng and plus 1k unit of all the kia vehicles. I believe with 22k unit of sales annually Bermaz should able to go back to 2023 record profit
