2morow we can see the market reaction to all the news which came out today ...a closure on FIC and MR Z caze soo ... off course people will ask whats that related to FGV with ISA since he left long back ...its all bout perpection ...despite raising debt FGV again will sitting with a pile of cash ...how this will be spend closely watch by everyone ... RM 2.15 is coming ...buy buy buy ...i am collecting more

Saying that it does not matter with Z will stay ... if he stay its good if not there will be a better replacement .. remember they planning to raise 1.5billion Sukuk so should have a credible CEO and CFO ... hope the good time back for FGV .

Looks like I did not follow FGV long time and its still in downtrend ... but this Is what I think what needed for FGV share to have some momentum

1. Concluding of Zakaria and CFO investigation
2. MACC investigation for FELDA and FGV
3. Disposal of non-performing asset
4. Address labour problem and operation cost

I am in long term in FGV so will still hold with this share since eventually all the issues will be addressed in my opinion regardless who will be sitting in putrajaya .....

Next QR will be bad but should not be that bad as the previous 2nd QR .... again its not relevent how good or bad the QR is going to be ... behind the scene a lot things is happening in FGV ... once all done we will see if FGV going to move upwards or become a penny stock ..

On Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) acting chairman Tan Sri Sulaiman Mahbob’s recent remark that FGV is revisiting some of its past investments and considering whether to dispose of its underperforming assets, Shahrir said Felda would likely buy back some of these non-core assets owned by FGV.

“Why not, since some of these assets belong to Felda prior to the FGV listing?” he said without identifying the assets.
Sulaiman had said that FGV is re-evaluating its past acquisitions in plantations and other non-core businesses which do not benefit the group in the long run as their returns were not up to the mark.

Retirement Fund Inc (KWAP) chief executive officer Datuk Wan Kamaruzaman Wan Ahmad, who was also a panelist at the session, said the fund had often stayed on in troubled companies as it was “stuck” due to liquidity issues.
“It is not by choice but due to circumstances, for example, the latest is obviously FGV. Some have managed to divest their stakes and some have not been able to.
“Some thought it was at a low level and collected more shares and ended up in a bigger problem,” he said.
However, he said it had ultimately decided to stay on in the company as it felt that there was light at the end of the tunnel.
“It is a GLC and there is a lot of support from the government – they will not let it fail because it will affect a large group of stakeholders,” he said.

However only if you waiting to go up till to original IPO Price .. you can’t deny one thing .. FGV indeed is an election issue how much it will played by opposition no one knows but if FGV is a penny stock during election it will an issue for AJIB .. why ….people vote with emotion some time .. FELDA 1st Generation could be fooled by Ajib but 2nd and 3rd Generation are well educated and they know what’s happening with FGV …


For me depends when you enter or exit you still can make money with FGV till the election .. I could be wrong but I like FGV for their drama …

With FGV in this situation .. election might not be good idea ... despite FELDA settlers might not directly affected by FGV price .. perception is the most important ... and this is not good at all for Ajib ..
