The BDI is still 39% below its recent peak compared to the Panamax index which is only 25% below its 26 Oct peak of 4,326. Supramax index is 31% below its 21 Oct peak of 3,628.

The panamax index, which is most relevant 2 the co, is now 42% higher than its recent rebound bottom last month, a level last seen on 3rd Nov & 6th Jun this year, much higher than then brief 9-year 2240 peak seen in Aug '19 & matching levels not seen since Jul 2010.

Last yr the price (adjusted) almost touched $12. A far cry from now.
