QA passed, awaiting Exco meeting to endorse it; announcement on Fri or Mon after mkt close. On Ophir buying salamander, no worries, it's gonna be a lengthy process (normal process takes 6-9 mths if the due diligent - pass). Similarly with Sona, the process started in Mar-Apr this year.

wah, I also want tips from your friend please check with him what is his next target after Sona... really don't mind that 1% risk....hahaha

Once QA approved - will up n down until EGM (more up than down)
Once EGM - passed; deal completed. Up some more.
The mgmt will then write to SC for approval to transfer from SPAC to main board O&G. (May take mths).
While waiting for transfer, fund manager will buy.
Once transfer to mb, institutional fund will buy.
So what do u think? Hahaha

This takeover news actually will force both Sona and Salamander to speed up the whole process.... Once Salamander recieve the cash from Sona, it will strengthen their cashflow, and put them in strong position... I do believe the takeover option is the last option the Salamander management would like to consider.

PipiMimi, glad to know you wrote for the benefits of true Sona investors.... What is your view on Sona prospect after QA acquisition that you would think is worth to hold on for long term?
