Fyi Im still holding Jaks stock with about 30% paper loss, so Im in the same boat as you if you are Jaks stock holder.
Would like to know the source of info regarding Jaks hold 3 out of 5 board seats, as I m quite curious how with China CPECC 70% stake they would allow Jaks to control JHDP boardroom.

Now I see the reason:
If JHDP proft is so awesome, why China counterpart who control the board in JHDP would want to declare dividend that make Jaks has the cash to increase its stake to 40%? Common sense right?
So there will be various PP or another RI in future.

I have suspicious on the money in JHDP because Serba once also claimed it has profits in subsidiaries in Middle East. Will UHY go to Vietnam to audit the account of JHDP?

How do you know the money in JHDP is real? I see some similarity in Jaks and Serba Dinamik. Serba also announced quarters after quarters of profits with lesser and lesser cash. Serba did various private placement and always oversubscribed according to newspapers. It only turn red when found fault by KPMG eventually.
Auditor of Jaks is UHY Malaysia, not even a big four accounting firm.

The reason I doubt the money is in there is because while Jaks announced every quarters profits but Jaks still doing various private placement.

We don’t have to concern about the progress, operation or the profitability of power plant project, as these are the job of CPECC.

CPECC will help us achieved all the target according to plan or else they will be hang to dry when they returned to China.

Our job is how to control ALP from abusing the money to the tune of HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF CASH coming from the power plant yearly.

Q&A during AGM is a good, however, we have to take the answers given by ALP with a pinch of salt as he is not legally binding to deliver what he has promised during AGM. Please be inform that ALP has also promised before that there won’t be rights issue to raise fund for power plant equity and yet what has happened.

All of us who has bought into Jaks are in the same boat, the only thing that can control ALP is our vote, the only thing that can make ALP cautious in abusing the power plant income is also our vote, we have to fight ALP with our vote and not depend on his sympathy as most of us known from experience that ALP has no heart for minority shareholders.

I suggest during the upcoming AGM, we VOTE AGAINST the following 2 resolutions :-

1. The re-election of Dato’ Razali Merican as director – it was because he has shown non-confident in the company and depress the share price by continuously dumping his personal share in open market

2. Approval for directors to allot shares not exceeding 10% until the conclusion of next AGM – the objective is to prevent further dilution of interest through private placement

On paper ALP has 13.3% shares, assuming all 30 major shareholders are his proxy, which is unlikely, the maximum he has is 35%. At the very least, our group in unity will make ALP more cautious when he is dealing with hundreds of millions of power plant money yearly.

I have a brother whose character is like Ang Lam Poah. My brother is very clever and his own company makes lots money. He won't care what people think of him, he will find anyway to take advantage of others just to make money. He bullies others on road too.
But as a family, we know very clear that as long as others fight back against him, he will retreat.
It's same case here. CEO Ang Lam Poah keeps bullying us because we didn't fight back. If we really unite and fight back, he will retreat.

At original RI, DK66 promoted it by stating that the price must be above RM1 in order to achieve at least 50% discount of TERP condition. We trusted him by buying the Jaks when it is below RM1.
Now the revised RI, the price of Jaks is worth only RM0.81 in order to achieve 50% discount of TERP condition.
I feel disappointed and learnt a big lesson:

He is also Arbb new director. If you study Arbb financial report, you will notice the group make
profits each quarters since this Dato became director, but their cash flow? Always Negative.
Arbb claims they sell ERP system to Yes's Comm Sdn Bhd for 20 mil. You check online Yes's Comm Sdn Bhd just a Maxis dealer in Malaysia.
There are also many more suspicious projects they claims they have won.
