Having said that, I think the termination of license to draw raw water is a necessity for the fed govt to take over the operations of the treatment plants.
You have to terminate your tenancy agreement with your original tenant before you can allow your new tenant to come in to operate, right ?

This, to me, sounds like nationalisation of a previously privatised public utility .
So the questions will be:-
1) Can the federal govt take over Puncak's PNSB at an arbitrarily and unilaterally fixed price, knowing well that it doesn't work that way ( Selangor govt tried, but did not work out )? A communist country can easily do this, but for Malaysia govt to do it is something unimaginable!
2) Did our PM Najib say that it has to be based on the "willing buyer willing seller " basis?
3) Is it in the best interest of both the state and federal govts to resolve this in an amicable way?

The BOD of Puncak had already say that they are willing to sell if the two conditions are met , which translates into good money for shareholders like us!

As of now, I will not sell and will just hold for better return in very near future.

To me, the fact that KDEB asks for extension means that some thing good is brewing, otherwise what KDEB has to do is just reply to Puncak and say no to condition no 1, no to condition no 2, no to condition no 3 and so on and close case!
Maybe some behind the scene negotiations are being carried out right now?

In bursa, I believe it is hard to find any counters like Public Bank and Genting that you can really hold for long long term to make you rich.
I don't think cold eye held these two counters for many many years but he still made his millions from Bursa( >30 millions I think !)
But we can see a lot of counters that can do well for some years ( glove makers, electric counters, etc )before declining, that is they have a life cycle, the typical S shape plc( product life cycle).
