the loss is due to "the charge out of pre-operating costs in relation to Bangladesh MRP Passport Outsourcing Project (the revenue of the project will be generated in the next financial year)"
This is accounting manipulation; A project profit can be added to whichever quarter so long the project is part of the quarter period, sometimes future profits were accounted for even it wasn't even realized/collected as long the project is kicked off.
could it be that since the market outlook is already dull, no point giving a promising result?
why not add it into the next financial year to boost the outlook during better market times?
you can say the loss is 20mil, you must know also this is mainly due to the cost of bangladesh MRP without the profit offset, hence it should be less if these were accounted for.
nonetheless, brace for tomorrow, it should go south a little more with this news made known to public.
