this make me recall MBf fin. ... a few years ago, MBf finance boss (an Indian) also want to delist MBf fin. due to insufficient public shareholding spread ... he made the offer twice (in a few years time), the 1st. offer failed and in the 2nd. offer, he had to revised the offer to higher price .... sometimes to delist an insufficient public shareholding spread is not easy .....

on the first day of OR listing, when i saw the OR price, i sold 2/3 of my holding@.755 (usually OR will be traded lower on 2nd. and 3rd. day) and later i bot OR @0.09 .....

i still keep 1/3 holding to coup with any unexpected in the period before new shares listing ..... must hv a little skill doing this :-)
