my perception of private placement WAS - institutional funds acquiring huge chunks of the new shares which is NOT offered to the public at all. <-------Iris still selling the 10% to institutional funds, maybe Iris will restrict Ambank to sell the share to the open market at certain period in the contract, however, Ambank can still voice out their term& conditions to invest in Iris, maybe some percentage must be allowed to be sold to their customers? who knows?

what is fair and unfair? Ambank investing to iris, spending large amount of money to purchase 10% of iris 's share, of course Ambank will have the right to give benefit to it's customer... if you wanted this benefit as well, Ambank will be very happy to open an account for you....

no matter what, if my assumption is right, customers that can afford to purchase the minimum 5000 lots are considered as " big customer" of Ambank investment Sdn Bhd, what if they make their customer lose their money in this investment? so I believe what ImCK said is correct, " iris price wont go down 0.55 but will keep maintence same price range at 55-60"

2 situations might happening, First, if too many ppl applying the shares, let say the 10% private placement shares 100% absorbed by market, then i think it is tragedy as that's mean Ambank not willing to hold iris share, just wanted to earn the commission...Secondly, if Ambank only releasing 1,2% to their loyalty customers, then I dun think Ambank will happy to see the share's price fall after purchasing iris share, so iris will continue uptrend...

i am just guessing.....ambank is the 10% private placement shareholder, and ambank allowing it's customer to purchase certain amount of shares at 0.54. (only in this situation, ambank has the right to release some share to market) It's sounded bad, but if this is truth, Ambank will be still holding at least 5-7% shares, if the share value dropping, it wont be happy also. what do you guys think?

let's conclude everything,
1) rhb& ambank allowing the customer to apply iris share, due date is on monday.
2) minimum quantities to apply is 5000 lots, which is equal to maximum RM 270000
3) the range of the share is 0.51 to 0.54.
below is the uncertain info,
1) the share is taken out from the new 10% private placement.
2) the share can be sold anytime without restrictions.

can anyone call to iris to confirm these statements~?
