My strategy
I wish to share this article with all readers in I3. Please advise me if you spot any mistake on my part.
During the analyst briefing after the Q4 2020 result is out, all analysts are informed that 150 million PBT or 120 million PAT was not captured in time for the Q4 2020 result. This amount is carried forward to Q1 2021.
In the month of July 2020, the selling price of the glove increased by 15%.
In August and September 2020, the selling price of gloves increased by 30%.
I believe Q1 2021 result will be better than Q4 2020.
The most important criteria for the share price of stock to go up north is the growth of PAT or EPS. There is a strong growth in PAT in Q1 2021 result.
According to my calculation, PAT in Q1 2021 result is 954 million. The target price is 50.56.
The share price of Supermx closed at 18.88 today, the target price is 50.56. The potential gain is 168%.
I believe the Q1 2021 result will be released in October 2020.
There is a bonus issue of 1 to 1. The ex date is 7 September 2020. Buy and hold to take up this bonus issue.
You will get 1,000 of treasury shares for 45,000 shares held as dividend payment after bonus issue ex date.
I recommend holding on to the share until Q1 2021 result is out. You will get your bonus issue and you will be able to sell at a higher price since Q1 2021 is supposed to be very good.
The share price of Supermx will explode when Q1 2021 result is released in October 2020 like the share price of Carepls.
I have checked many times, I believe there is no error at all. Please wait for the Q1 2021 result to be released and let us verify what is the true PAT.
Dumb ... dumb hold this stock will be a better strategy not to miss out in this super bull run.
Based on my study, the best month to buy stocks in KLSE is July/August month, usually the share price will go up until December month provided the trend of these stocks is up trending.
You need to buy and hold Supermx for 5 months in order to win big.
My strategy to buy and hold Supermx until Christmas 2020.
I strongly believe Supermx will be incorporated into FBMKLCI index link stocks at the end of 2020. Many fund managers will buy Supermx into their portfolios.
I believe the share price of Supermx will outperform at the end of 2020 once Supermx is inside the FBMKLCI index link stocks.

Further to the announcement made by the Company on 31 January 2020, the Company wishes to provide the following additional information:-

1. The new scope of works for the maintenance services of hardware and software for the Autogate and Chips and the maintenance services for equipment and application of Public Key Infrastructure and Public Key Directory, amounting to RM38,250,000.00, had commenced with effect from 10 May 2019 and valid until 30 November 2021.

2. The maintenance services of hardware and software for the Autogate and Chips and the maintenance services for equipment and application of Public Key Infrastructure and Public Key Directory were previously awarded to another company under 2 different contracts and had expired and now were given to DTSB and consolidated into the Passport Chips Contract.

3. The demand of the Malaysian Passports had dropped from average of 2.5 million per year to approximately 2.2 million per year since the abolishment of the 2-year validity passport option in 2015. Therefore, the reduction of number of chips from 12.5 million to 11.0 million for the 5-year Contract from 1 December 2016 to 30 November 2021 will not affect the financial performance of the Company as the demand of passports for the contract period of 5 years is approximately 11 million now rather than 12.5 million.

4. The new scope of works amounting RM38,250,000.00 with effect from 10 May 2019 until 30 November 2021 will contribute positively towards the future earnings and net assets per share of Datasonic Group for the financial year ending 31 March 2020 and the financial years thereafter.

The Board of Directors of Datasonic is pleased to announce that DTSB has on 16 January 2020 received and accepted the LOE dated 14 January 2020 from KDN for the extension of supply for the balance of 6.1 million MyKad raw cards and MyKad consumables to the NRD for a period of one (1) year commencing from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020.

RHB Research keeps 'buy' rating on Datasonic

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 15): RHB Retail Research maintained its 'buy' call on Datasonic Group Bhd at RM1.47, raising its target price (TP) by 61.98% to RM1.96 from RM1.21.

RHB Research's stance is sustained by a 33% upside determined by the updated TP and a circa 2% yield.

In a company update today, RHB Retail Research analyst Lee Meng Horng predicted that Datasonic's FY21-22 bottomline could potentially rise by 143% and 140%, propelled by the Foreign Visa System (VLN) contract which is deemed to yield Datasonic an ongoing revenue stream of RM463 million.

"This in turn could hypothetically translate to RM1.44/share at a conservative 20x P/E (20 times price to earnings).

"We believe the securing of a major contract in the software/system space could further re-rate the company in this segment, rather than just hardware and equipment," he added.

The research house believes that the change of guard and shareholders within Datasonic will further reinvigorate the company.

Currently, deputy chairman Datuk Razali Mohd Yusof has emerged as the substantial shareholder, and recent off-market trades saw existing managing director (MD) Datuk Abu Hanifah Noordin ceased being a substantial shareholder after disposing of 28.15% from his entire 28.82% stake to the new MD (8.86%), deputy MD Chew Ben Ben (9.38%) and undisclosed holders (4.95% and 4.96%).

Datasonic is likely to clinch contracts to supply MyKads and consumables for another year. Additionally, the company is further expecting the award of public key directory and public key infrastructure related solutions alongside auto-gate maintenance.

Lee noted that Datasonic has undertook maintenance related works for over a year, and will realise revenue of circa RM15 million upon attainment of the contract.

"Maintain Buy with no changes in earnings forecasts given the growing expectations and optimism on several potential contract flows in the near term and the recent change of guard in the company. Failure in the contract bid should see our TP revert to the level prior to this upgrade.

"Key downside risks include fluctuations in orders, contract discontinuation, and unsuccessful contract bids," he said.

As at 2.50pm, Datasonic was trading at RM1.59, with some 132,100 shares changing hands, valuing the company at RM2.15 billion.

DSONIC dropped 2.0 sen (-1.33%) to close at RM1.48 yesterday.
Chart-wise, the stock has been moving upwards since last December.
Yesterday, the stock continued to trend above all its key SMAs. Coupled with a bullish MACD indicator, we believe that the stock could move higher.
Should buying momentum persist, the stock is expected to test overhead resistance at RM1.65 (R1) and RM1.75 (R2).
Conversely, support levels can be identified at RM1.35 (S1) and RM1.25 (S2).

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Razali Mohd Yusof, who emerged as a key shareholder in Datasonic Group Bhd last month, has upped his stake in the technology firm.

Razali’s vehicle, Demi Mekar Sdn Bhd now has a 6.45% stake in the group after acquiring an earlier 3.9% stake on Dec 18,2019.

Datasonic, in a filing to the stock exchange, stated that Demi Mekar had acquired 87,162,000 shares on Jan 2,2020.

Razali, who was recently appointed as Datasonic’s deputy president, also sits on the board of MARINE & GENERAL BHD, which is mainly involved in marine logistics in the upstream and downstream segments.

With over 25 years of experience in the mining and oil and gas industry, Razali has held many roles ranging from developing businesses, managing critical projects, organisational development and providing advisory and consultancy services.

It has been speculated that there could be a revamp in the group’s top management following the recent changes in its shareholding.

The group’s long-serving managing director Datuk Abu Hanifah Noordin is expected to step down.

A StarBizweek report, citing sources, said Razali or persons related to him will take over as the group’s new managing director.

“Razali and his related parties are increasing their stake in the company to get a better control, ” the source was quoted as saying.

On Dec 18, Abu Hanifah sold about 186.41 million shares or 48% of his total share units in Datasonic via direct business transactions.

Despite the disposal, Abu Hanifah is the single largest shareholder with 202.67 million shares in Datasonic.

This represented a direct and indirect shareholding of 10.17% and 4.84% respectively.
