From my shallow understanding, true "value" investor is very, very rare nowadays.
After all, how many value investor can hold for 2-3 years until the recovery phase of the aftermath of a crisis kicks in to recover the stock's value? I rest my case.

For you understand only, the scale of current crisis of Malaysia may hit 1997 bad if left unchecked. We're expecting a deficit which has not occur for the past ten years. If such case happens, not only will ringgit be affect, most stocks will be a goner as well - i.e. losing value except those bigger caps which has higher chance of survivability.

Now when we use logic and think, in a financial crisis, would you prefer holding cash or stocks which you may not even have a chance to sell to liquidate it? True value investor are actually more of an opportunitist, they come at when the market is almost bottoming BUT with the condition that the country is not in a deep shit.

For example greece now, would you prefer to buy greece stocks now?

I don't see it crashed after so many years? That shud tell you how "good" they are.

1750 is the technical support of current CI, if it holds a technical rebound may occur.
That's for the CI btw, this is small caps so not necessary follow.
However if the CI don't technical rebound, small caps don't even have chance.

possibility is there.
