@MuchenOrb, time and proper trials will tell if a vaccine from any manufacturer works or not.

Another problem is mutation. If this virus keeps mutating, can the vaccines keep up? Is it already engineered to deal with mutations? There are just too many unknowns and variables to be sure at this point in time.

@EatThis, probably forced. Anyway, Sputnik V is too political, trust for it has now all but gone. Putin and Trump are not responsible leaders to see this through.

Vaccine will take a long time, just look at how fragmented the whole world is in dealing with this pandemic. Just like the stupid space race, USA builds a rocket, Russia builds a rocket, China builds a rocket. If everyone were to just pool their resources, we would be terraforming Mars by now. Russia claims to have a vaccine, western powers "diu chao" the vaccine. China releases vaccine, western "diu chao" also. Later western power release, guess what Russia and China will do? It's just a bloody mess.

While the powers that be diu here diu there, we just buy gloves and sit tight. That makes sense to those still in doubts?

My gut feeling is that the virus will just get tired of humans and burn itself out before a vaccine comes good, but not before it wreaks massive havoc first.
