The SPA with puncak turn unconditional if not today then soon. Because from previous statement only two CPs were not fulfill by the 3rd extension. Transfer of land and also approval from UKAS. I think these two are not issue anymore with the signing of the supplementary agreement.

Selangor water woes and puncak is somewhat two separate issues mixed together at the moment. Many ppl are also worried about puncak decision today because this is the deadline for extension. No one knows exactly how rozali will decide so a lot of ppl take profit first.

From the exceprt above, Rozali doesnt sound who is going to screw the deal anytime soon :)

The AG is a third party here. Heck, with the AG himself busy with Najib case maybe he has not even seen the papers from Selangor. The legal term for unmovable asset includes the land. Maybe that's y it was rejected until further clarification.

we can just sit and see what will unfold next few days. AG Chamber is the 3rd party in this issue. Both Kettha and State might have reached an agreement but the moment it reaches AG, some middle level officers may just send back coz not fulfill normal requirement. like Hng33 said, you should ask EPF fund manager that question. EPF has hundreds of account managers. Some of they operate with clear directives and targets. They are not allowed to trade at their own sentiment. Some of them might have to sell once their holding earn a certain pre-set target % proft. Or maybe they could be freeing up cash to support some local GLCs. Endless reasons...

i also think Azmin will stay. He is after all chosen by Hadi, and also the deputy president of PKR. although not well liked by DAP, they have pledged support for him. he is the strongest single ADUN in Selangor at this instance

plus i would guess that there would be many players who bought beginning of the week banking on Azmin's word that will settle before Ramadan, all forced to sell end of the week. but then again, i do not have any insider info, or anything. so just hope for the best.

it's normal for counter with high uncertainty to experience selldown on Friday afternoon. More so Puncak when coupled with the Selangor Gov uncertaintiy. We might wake up on Monday with no Selangor Gov anymore. Let's just hope for the best next week

the deal looks likely now. Yesterday Azmin thanked Ongkili for being 'pro-active' in solving the issues. This leaves him with little room to blame Ongkili if it fails now. So looks like he's quite confident that it will be finalized this time.

although not much new info, but at least can confirm one thing. this is the first time Ongkili publicly speak about this issue since last week Azmin Ali said it will be completed. at least they are on the same page about this, barring any unforeseen circumstances.

Internally they might know something we don't. In the announcement it specifically stated that the re-designations are for the purpose of completing the sales of PNSB and Syabas.

According to the announcement last week, the MD of Syabas has been re-designated to be the acting MD of of puncak niaga construction pending completion of water deal. I supposed that's a good news? Some action going on internally, instead of no sound at all.
