Disastrous???? Not really...no qualifying asset within 3 yrs, you get "some" of your money back. I said "some" because it depends at which point you buy the shares. If you buy Sona said at IPO which is 50sen then 3yrs no qualifying asset you get about 48sen. But if you buy at the low said 38sen, you get 48sen after 3yrs if no qualifying asset. So is this disastrous????? A lot of misinformation are flying on SPACs...so always get the facts right.

Lotusf1...not right...they hv to acquire an assets/company within 3yrs and you all need to approve it in an EGM. If you dont approve it, you get certain amount of money back that is being held in the trust plus interest.

It is totally different from dot-com company. They have a choice to look for assets/company and that new asset/company could be making money also. It is up to them to look for good assets. If you as shareholder feels that is not a good assets, then disagree in the EGM and you got your money back. In dot-com, you put your money in and it could burn off and you cant see the ashes also. So spac is different and that's why they have the word "Special" in it.

Heavy foreign holdings also have heavy local funds/epf holding...so from the data of RM109.5mil means foreign are buying and local funds/epf are selling in those counters.

Lol....Hafiz you saw my data on foreign funds and now you think twice already....lol. It is ok, nobody is 100% correct. Base on the data, we just make decision or take precaution accordingly. Market goes up and down in cycle and so is the economy...even though the market can crash, it will come up again. So just follow along and worry less and be prepared for the worst case and also the best case.

Hmmm...just curious OTB...if not mistaken you put a buy for puncak-wb for your stock portfolio challengers at 2.09 which is a red candle. So how this explain the above?

Talking about foreign funds...here are some details I manage to get.
Jan +RM2.4bil
Feb +RM1.8bil
Mar +RM4.4bil
Apr +RM5.1bil
May +RM3.8bil
Jun -RM3.2bil
Jul -RMM0.04bil
Aug -RM7.0bil

For 2013 only till todate inflow=RM17.5bil
For 2013 only till todate outflow=-RM10.24bil

So bursa still have RM7.26bil of foreign funds holding that came in 2013. (Take note that I do not have those previous years c/f holding of foreign funds).

Possibly the sell down of foreign funds will tepid soon. Maybe give one go like in August..RM7bil...lol.

Anyway there's seller, there's buyer...money still in the market.....matter of time only.
