u can make ur own decision after reading all the postings from this forum.. ur money, ur call.. nobody knows wats gonna happen in the future, theres always risk in equity, kalo tak nak risk, letak la dalam ASN. its a fresh company just got out of PN17, just see how the story gonna develop in the future. i think its worth investing in.

ppl should understand, for a PN17 companies, their financing are very limited, thats why they usually do private placement or RI. why discount? thats because no one would put money in PN17 companies if theres no discount. if u dont know the listing requirements, dont just main cakap..those who dont know will easily follow the wrong info.

and its normal for company to announce the quarter result on the last trading day of the month, so in Sumatec case, its not a delay.. and dont create unnecessary speculation, not needed here.

If directors buy or sell shares, have to disclose, if takdak, then its just rumours.

if im not mistaken, when the company do Proposed Reg Plan, they will have a reporting accountant ("RA"), so usually, the RA will be the external auditor..

bcos i dont think halim saad would be stupid enough to put money if he thinks the Company cant get out of PN17. The Company only have one chance, as per Listing Requirement says immediately 2 positive quarterly after implementation of the Proposed Regularisation Plan. By then, the Proposed Regularisation would be deemed completed. Company untung can pinjam bank, Halim pun untung.

Meaning to say, the Company dont have 2nd chance if they miss to get profit this quarter. U think Halim would be so stupid not to make sure the Company get out of PN17? Long term ape mau takut, this drop is good for the Company to get all kaki contras, punters out..

Approval by Bursa in my opinion, therefore it will be easier, u can refer to Ho Hup announcement dated 2 May 2014.

"Consequently, after due consideration of all facts and circumstances of the matter, Bursa Securities has decided to approve the application of Ho Hup for an early upliftment from being classified as a PN17 company. As a result thereof, the upliftment of Ho Hup will be effective on 5 May 2014."

and if not mistaken to get out pn17 approval by bursa,not sc, so usually bursa approval easier than SC. just my 2 cts

fyi, sumatec does not involve in change of business direction, thats why in their circular to shareholders in relation the Proposed Regularisation Plan, it mentioned the approval required just from the Bursa.

please, its just a monthly announcement. nothing got to do with the upliftment of pn17 yet. the company will make the necessary announcement in relation to the pn17 status in due course. as long as they meet the 2 quarter positive then shouldnt be a problem to kluar pn17.
