I’ve taken flu shot yearly annually in 3 different countries (Malaysia, UK and Czech). There is no need for the nurses to wear gloves. Administering vaccines does not require gloves usage. Have you taken a flu shot lately?

The medical disposable glove is to protect the medical staff and the patient. In all hospitals and medical centers, observe that the medical staff never reuse the same glove, syringe, cottons, etc. This is because there is most often a small drop of patients blood on the cotton, gloves, etc when injection is administered. This blood if already infected by other diseases / sickness (HIV, Malaria, Dengue, etc) can be transmitted and infect the next patient if reused. Believe this is a standard approved SOP since many years ago. Believe since HIV.

So question to you is, would you allow a medical staff to reuse gloves which they have already used on other patients before you (patients you do not know) on you, your children, your family?
