this is one of the few counters that i am confident this year's results will be better than last year's one. from what i see, most other companies quarterly earnings drop y-o-y

disappointed with the quarter result for what is usually their strongest quarter. They purchased Pinko Creative for RM860k through internally generated funds. What does that mean? They gonna sell off some property to fund it, hence the reevaluation of properties?

thanks @stklearner. i have been holding since pre-bonus issue. reason i bought this was because my children use a lot of sasbadi books. And when i entered, the company looked like a good company - decent ROE, healthy cash flows. Really didnt expect the price to drop so drastically. Sold off half to raise money elsewhere but that didnt work out as well.

Btw, what do you mean by DBS fund invested at 50sen? I'm not aware of any funds buying sasbadi shares

sasbadi need to improve its cash flow. cant even afford to buy back own shares when many other small caps are doing so. really hope epf stops selling

increase by RM16mil according to the latest Q result. in my simplistic thinking, if they manage to collect all the receivables, the revenue and profit should go up the next quarter.

If china impose tariff on US soybeans, it should cause the price of soybeans to drop because farmers would have to sell more soy in the US at the expense of other crops. And this in turn would be good news for Teoseng because the price of feeds will reduce further, lowering their cost of raw materials.

too bad sasbadi cant be shorted. or else can make some money out of the dropping share price.

to me, M&A is fine if you have the cash. the problem with sasbadi is they dont have cash. they should have been more prudent with their cash flows.

Yup. Teoseng fits into KYY golden rule : uptrending price and the company would make more money this year compared to last year. Revenue and profits have increased steadily for past 2 quarters. Ringgit which strengthened will reduce the cost of feeds. Insiders have already started accumulating earlier.

overambitious management still want to do one M&A every year. where to get money from? borrowings already increased a lot compared to previous year. share price so low dont make sense to offer right issues/private placements. what's happening to sasbadi? anyone who went for AGM can explain??

thought epf would stop disposing this year. but they kept disposing at 0.58-0.60. i dont know how much lower sasbadi can sink if the next quarter results are not up to expectations.
