This morning's Sunday sermon is on the 7 c's to a happy family life:
compassion, commitment, compromise, consistent, confession, !!, & children.

I would like to tell you an episode occured in my youth.
My best childhood friend is Anthony who lived up the small hill while I on base. Our elders are friends, have same dialect, religion &b are classmate. We were like brothers and good street fighters. To show our closeness, while making glass-strings for fighting kites, a suddenly down pour occurred and in the excitement to save the strings, I cut my left heels seriously and could hardly walk. He piggy-back me down the long steps to my home in the storm. We were only kids then.
Can't remember a thing of what and why we fallout. As a result we were never on speaking terms but in spite of this, even when our gangs do fight each other we never had a physical combat with each other.
Only after we were married later in life that we managed to speak to each other again but because of the long taw the closeness has gone with the wind. With hind-sight/maturity, we should have make-up early and we would not have been strangers for so many years.
The moral of this true story of mine is that the closer we are the greater the hurt one can experience on a fallout due to the great love/trust. So whatever happen, try to make-up as earlier as one can. Make it happen. Life is too short for any other thing other than to LOVE. Love is the greatest gift to give and receive. Love gives life.

for those with short memory, a good practice is to jot down what you want to do b4 taking-on the trade. Be prepared for all eventualities. As ct said the most important TRADING rule is 'loose little when WRONG but make big when you r RIGHT'

I am sorry that I have offended you earlier when I first ventured into this forum.
As a trader, I was naturally attracted to SUM due to the huge volume and price swings. Before entering this forum I had already traded a couple of rounds positively. The announcement of the enormous rights issue caused the price to drop when I was holding 20k and immediately cut-loss. Bought back 10k lower in anticipation of selling parts of the ORs and apply for excess. This I did and managed to cover all my losses.

Even as a TA practician, I cannot ignore my logical conclusion that after such an enormous issues of new shares the new share price should have serious limitations. That is where I may have offended you the great advocate for this counter at that time.
Of course, I would like to believe what you were advocating comes to fruition, as it would be to my great benefit as I was holding 10k + 45k new + 11k wb. If I have held back the new shares and wb I would have made at least 10k.
My conscience at the time cannot ignored that as newbies were buying at unreasonable price even after ex-date.

I see now the angle where you were coming from - the hype of O&G and expectations of using the new money to find black-gold. Now the time may be ripe to take a new look and profit from it in the new year.

So my original gut feelings were correct and then events seems to become real and getting serious/out of hand. omg anyway, I did prayed earnestly Bahrain time.

Inwest88, not really because am by nature/upbringing merges smoothly with solitude. Being the eldest of 8, took care my siblings from school going age and so have acquired to be contented as long as the others are happy.

There will be 2 big fabulous parties going on at the same time in the service apartments and by nature Pinos are really natural & great party makers and hosts. Great food & drinks and they are very good beer drinkers and karaoke singers. The parties will go on till dawn but before long I will be sleeping soundly. They have accepted my style. Even the Japs will tell me to feel free to leave anytime, while they continue with their jolly making.

I am lucky to be always be able to be myself in work & pleasure, that's what keeps me happy and contented.

Now with the present modern communication applications like WhatsApp/Tango are really great techno gifts. I am connected to 3 corners of the earth which is practically free.

Have the same dream but so far results far from expectation. Main culprit is chasing too many targets and loose discipline.

For uptrend stocks, I still have not been able to emulate the strategy of adding more at each new highs - Trading the new highs for momentum stocks that you are using to great advantage. I still tend to do the opposite - taking partial profit

I will put in action this strategy in my next momentum counter. My new year resolution hehe

Sense of freedom gives one space > results in good sense of well-being > leads to self-confidence > heightens self-esteem >> no need for to look for other outlets/safety valve.

We inculcate in our children the right(main stream)values and from a very young age they are given the freedom of choice/action within the said constrains. 'Touch wood' to-date we have no regrets except that we should have given slightly more push on their academic performance but still ok as all 3 still ended in tertiary engrg/finance/law. Compared to those within the family - where very strictly/tight control at young age >> rebellion during young adulthood.

It is my nature to give free reign may be because I was given the same. The above observation actually comes from my other half that she feels so secured because I give her that freedom.

In my work, as senior I also exercise the same with my juniors. In my present job, I have to handle 40+ Pino engineers (like Md YS always like to communicate in tagolog despite the project manager advise not to). No problem to me, performance is what counts. I give them freedom to do what they think is the best at the battlefront - only come to me when they face road-blocks. We are considered to be the best contractor to those we work with in performance, attitude, response etc... Mind you no OT is given yet when required to, they work long hours and week-end w/o orders given; volunteering

Better to switch over to trading - haha....
