dont understand, article also said the revenue declined from the preceding quarter's RM167.9 million. 40.1% decrease was mainly due to lower billings from property development??

Read Harvest announcement 11/11/11 that The Board of Directors of Harvest Court Industries Berhad (“HCIB” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that the following Directors have given notice of their intention to deal in the securities of the Company during the closed period. Datuk Raymond Chan Boon Siew and Mohd Nazifuddin bin Dato’ Sri Najib.
What does this mean, please can someone advise what these 2 directors intend to do?

haha, blue chips like MSC with strong fundamentals will stand out when market is down, rest of the weak and 'imposters' will dramatically fall as nothing to back them, only speculation.
Buy wisely, dont go with 'hot air' news.

2011-11-05 16:16 | Report Abuse
aiyoh, i meant 1.069, sori again.
2011-11-05 16:14 | Report Abuse
sori, F&N earned about RM1.067, and not 1.02, typo error.
2011-11-05 15:58 | Report Abuse
simple comparison, F&N earned less than MSC abt RM1.02 full year results whereas MSC RM1.08 (just for 3Qs), F&N current prx >RM17, whilst MSC at RM4, so you can imagine MSC prx can still shoot up plenty more. Grab some while you can, it's a gem.

Wow, MSC's 3Q results in, profit surges to RM41.81m, absolutely one of the best stocks to go in.

dear kianwei, thanks again for your advice, it helps...

kianwei, thanks for the input. There is a buy and sell recommendation, I am really puzzled which or what to look at. When we click on buy recommendation and sell recommendation, there is a long list of stocks, and would appreciate if someone can explain what is the difference the range between price cross above/price cross below for the SMA and EMA. I am sure there is a logic to this.

I find this i3investor site informative and interesting. By the way, the markete filter feature is good, just have a little problem of my own understanding - what is sma60 and ema60?

let me put things in perspective. All HDD producers will now enjoy higher demand for their products due to the short supply.
ENG is definitely one of them. Look at how JKY is doing, their share prices have gone up. IT is now up to ENG to ramp up their production in their other facilities in Malaysia and elsewhere to take full advantage of the situation. At the same time, the damage to their facilities in Thailand is also covered with insurance, though to what extent, ENG will have to tell. So, higher demand and higher prices mean ENG will also enjoy higher trades, same with the rest of the HDD makers. Natural disasters will be catastrophic only if the makers do not have insurance and cannot rationalise and take advantage of the short supply situation. So hold if you can, sell if you wish. At current price of 1.55, share price is very attractive.

the buyer can always renegotiate a lower price than 2.50 due to unforeseen circumstances citing natural disasters, this would make sense to all. Look at the actual situation. Man proposes, God disposes.
