My 2 cents opinion is if the government decides to impose tax on gains on shares then they also must allow losses to be offset against other sources of income. I am happy to pay for the gains and now I have avenue to carry forward the losses or offset against any other sources of Income in a particular year of assessment. I am sure the law must be fair. On a broader prospective government may be on the losing end

I hope by the time of TG Hong Kong Listing the share price would be RM 7.70 . This means our Malaysian company Top Glove could be listed in HK at 15 HK dollars instead or the current 10 HK dollars.

My 2 cents opinion on JP Morgan's RM 3.50 target price is a psychological pricing to scare the retailers and fence sitters. That is how they can win in short selling which is usually targeting the weak holders. Surprisingly our Bursa and SC allow this in the name of market making activities or you can call it pocket filling activities. At this time need not elaborate whose pocket is filled.

As much as I am against JP Morgan with their dirty and manipulative tactics. It is very hard to beat them in this short period as the two biggest warehousing IB's namely Kenxxgx and Affxx Hwaxx are their buddies in providing the shares. Further more Bursa and SC policies also are favoring them.

Lets recap from early Dec 20, when JP Morgan downgraded TP price to RM 3.50 since then after 4 months:
a) Are international borders open?
b) Has the testing rate reduced?
c) Vaccination rate satisfactory?
d) Herd Immunity achievable?
e) Conclusive sign of pandemic/endemic is under control?
f) Can JP Morgan confirm there would not be new variants to cause 4th, 5th or 6th wave of Covid 19?
f) Any idea/indication on all the above by JP Morgan to when the publish the report on glove counters price target yesterday?

Well said Mabel. My 2 cents advice is trust the company you invest and monitor the captain of the company track record, If you are convince don t let go because of IB's report.

Let me just state on example of JP morgan excuse in downgrading TG was due to decline in global testing for new cases. Yesterday the confirmed cases were 811,564 can you imagine how many test would be carried out in the last week or the next three weeks.

Again JP morgan, Am merchant and Maybank took the retailers for a ride.

Since Dec JP Morgan took all the glove investors for a ride. I am not sure whether JP is able to predict the end of the pandemic but they are brilliant when it comes to market manipulation with the support of local IB's , Bursa and SC.

Early December 2020 JP Morgan issued target price for TG at RM 3.50 being bullish of vaccine roll out. Now already 4 months since the news are the borders open, vaccination complete? This is how the foreign fund managers take control of our local market. The local IB's really screw us being the slave of foreign IBs.

Hope the price is moved up by long term investors that are willing to hold rather than punters. Will know soon if the movement is real. I would appreciate a gradual increase increase in a timely manner.

I am not sure which way the share price would move but I am confident the US CBP issue would be good problem for Top Glove to overcome en-route to the vision to be a fortune 500 company. HK listing is also is another positive move to raise capital for automation, I am positive that Top Glove would overcome this issue but this would take another 6 months.
