Attorney-general Abdul Gani Patail has no time to do his job as he had outsourced many departmental legal duties to a private lawyer, Muhamud Shafee and yet he wasted no time to fly to UK to discuss on the ownership of the MH370’s black box. Why the hurry? Hey, the box has not been found yet and may never be found at all. Wouldn’t it be a waste of public fund and time to talk on custody of something when that object of contention has not been recovered? That brings us back why is the trip is necessary. Is it in UK? Yes, I know UK is a nice place to visit – cool weather at present. The mouth-watering crucial football game of EPL game between Liverpool and Manchester City is on today. How I wish I could follow Gani Patail to UK for this trip. Seriously, I am a loyal Malaysian and proud to be a Malaysian.

But I am sad to say that I don’t trust our BN government and therefor don’t want them to hold the sole custody of the black box, if found. Otherwise truths would be twisted and never be told. We expected cover-ups. We have been there before – far too many times. The families of the passengers and crews will thus be denied of being given the answer on what had actually happened. I guess it is the expected massive insurance pay- outs that our Malaysian government is afraid of. Malaysians, expect another round of increase in tax to pay for such loss as bailing out MAS out of its financial bankruptcy is a foregone conclusion.

See that MAS...how much damage you have done to the tourism industry of Malaysia.

The income and the reputation of the nation.

It will all be different if someone Bow and Apologise to show the sensitiveness, the humanity of the 239 missing and the seriousness & concern for the next-of-kin.

A reverse bow was done...I would say is too late now...sigh.

Its just not the Tourism Ministry..

The whole of Malaysia has taken a giant hit right from Finance to Defence..

MH370 has demonstrated to the world that we neither have the capability nor credibility...

This is going to affect Malaysia for a very very long time and that too more damage may yet come if details of the black box reveal even more damaging information.....

Tomorrow, Nazri will visit China's Ambassador to Malaysia, Dr Huang Huikang, as a mark of respect over the fate of the Chinese passengers involved in the MH370 incident.

Last year, tourists from China made up the third largest group after Singapore and Indonesia, with a record 1.6 million people.

In conjunction with the 2014 Visit Malaysia Year, the government targeted 28 million tourists to visit Malaysia.

"But what is important is that we sympathise with the families of the passengers on board MH370, and the question of whether we will continue our campaign in China does not arise for the moment. I think we must respect the sensitivity issue.

"So long as there is no closure to MH370, I do not see the suitability of us continuing the campaign in China," he told a media conference before opening the Asean Socio-Cultural Community Session in Kuala Lumpur today.

As such, Nazri said the ministry would postpone all promotions and 2014 Visit Malaysia Year roadshows to give due respect to the incident.

"We were doing well for January and February. But of course, the MH370 incident has definitely affected Malaysia's tourism.

Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz (pic) said to date, many Chinese tourists had cancelled their visit to Malaysia.

In fact, no future flight booking had been recorded for the China-Malaysia flight, he said.

MAHB's claim that AirAsia was the main reason for the cost/time overruns is absurd and only exposes MAHB's weakness in its management. How can a public-listed company with control on the project, lay the blame elsewhere for its own failure?

This is tantamount to gross negligence on its part but it now chooses to shift the blame. Any school kid can tell who is responsible for the mess and we don't need Public Accounts Committee’s (PAC) views on the matter.

Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB), stop blaming others before you take stock of yourself first.

MAHB cannot be any better than Malaysia Airlines (MAS), but maybe worse. Where is your staff of calibre to check and balance AirAsia's 'demands' for upscaling?

Why only now blame AirAsia when you could have controlled it at the earlier stage? Didn’t you ask AirAsia for justification for any upscaling? Can't MAHB do its own analysis/research on what is the appropriate scale for KLIA2?

Never realised the close links between MAS and CIMB and AirAsia. Now it dawns on me. Not only is Nazir Razak as CEO of the bank linked to MAS and Air Asia, but also wasnt it NAZIR RAZAK who walked around the whole of Bangsar with that Fernandez to try and campaign for BN and the people of Bangsar told them to piss off by voting in Anwar's daughter. Wasnt it also CIMB the bank to issue the bonds and borrowings for MAS?? And wasnt it also CIMB the bank who pushed for the merger or rather takeover by Fernandez over MAS?? Thank God the people again, this time the UNION told them to piss off. No wonder there is so much noise on the net that maybe it is the vested interest of some people to see MAS destroyed so that they can walk in and conquer the UNION and the assets.

Mr CEO, MAS soaring to new height? Yes, yes, break previous year deficits. Too many dead woods, poor inventory control, non open tender and excessive purchases. Fixed expenses are higher than turnover. It's diving.

It is difficult to deduce who is speaking the truth but one thing is certain. Most people or organisations do not practise nor adhere to preventive maintenance, what more on predictive maintenance.

Take the case of automobiles, I find it strange that people change their battery when it fails. Perhaps they are ignorant, stupid, or penny wise-pound foolish. Under normal circumstances, a battery’s lifespan is about two to three years.

If you must lie, come up with something credible. It's so glaring that MH370 was never detected making a turn back, otherwise on the morning MH370 was declared lost, RMAF will be ready with a statement.

But no, we have to wait several days before a turn back is announced. So minister, if you can't even lie properly, please hand in your resignation.

The staff is already DEMORALIZED after what had happened after it was privatized. After that it was going down and down and has never REALLY recovered and I bet it will never recover. Blame WHOEVER is instrumental in privatizing the airline. In fact all these Malaysia Inc and Privatization policies started in the 80's have brought untold misery to the average Malaysian NOW and had only resulted in the creation of a privileged few and cronies who became filthy rich. Just think about that

....But to get the whole picture, one must factor in the behaviour of management - whether they care for the shareholders. From retail investors' point of view, there is no point having a super efficient but heartless management....

Then what kind of management you want? Like Tat Sang? Silverbird? Big joke!

The share prices of the three Singapore-listed companies with Malaysian major shareholders – Blumont Group Ltd, Asiasons Capital Ltd and LionGold Corp Ltd – continued to fall, even after the announcement that Alex Molyneux, the former chief executive officer of SouthGobi Resources Ltd, would acquire 135 million shares or a 5.2% stake in Blumont at 40 Singapore cents (RM1.02) per share, and become chairman of the company.

In the first few minutes of trade, Blumont’s share price reacted positively by rising more than 100% to 30 cents. However, it was soon downhill all the way, and the stock ended the day flat at 13 cents.
