ozzie75 Audit fees is actually tax allowable. The one which is now allowable is the agent fees which is the tax computation fees. On the input/output tax issue. I would agree with you on this. Anyway, audit fees can be negotiated. Tell the auditor you are having financial difficulties, ask for discounts or not to increase your fees haha.

@ozzie75 Yes it would definitely increase the cost of running the business. But on audit fees, you have to look at audit and gst differently, i believe it would not affect the audit fees unless the company consult us on gst matters. Anyway they have this type of qualified accountant call Gst tax agents licensed by MOF. Other than this, before gst era, tax audit will be conducted by IRB, coming gst era, Custom and IRB will be conducting joint tax audit. I believe cost of compliance will surely increase.

postponing is quite impossible too. unless they amend the act. and in the act, sales and service tax suppose to cease starting 01 April. Too much confusion and complication will result from the postpone.

gst postponed = more time. more time = taking more customers. anyhow gst software providers will also benefits. the market now is short of supply, its business owners begging providers to service them. providers selecting customers to take. im familiar because im in audit field.

In an announcement on 19/09 it says that the offeror has acquired more than 75% of TMC which violates the listing requirement of having 25% public shareholding. I have only recently started trading, any experienced seniors here can enlighten me on this? What would be the possible outcome of this situation?
