There are many instances of pp not fully subscribed leading to company keeps extending the deadline to complete the exercise. If the investment banks didn't hedge by buying the mother shares for the call warrents issued, they are going to lose big time when the call warrents mature. Hence the hair cut to depress the mither shares so that they can buy back to hedge. Guess who will win in this war? The investment banks or operators?
