Datuk, you mentioned you want to disclose your reasons for dumping CSL. Pls enlighten.

The demise of the CEO means the handle will now be passed over to a new CEO, the process will take some time, and its good for the company as a change of handler may discover new things for the company such as missing cash, obsolete inventories and bad debts etc. etc.. Good for cleaning up the company if there are really irregularities, but somehow there seems to be no bad news.

CSL means Cheong Sooner or Later, don't worry lah. The only laggard stock in the whole wide world.

Good for punting now - Narra and Green Packets. CSL very silent.

WAhaha, we don't know who is the buyer, probably some proxies to act on behalf. Therefore this explain why heavy selling by Lead Champion.
2013-10-16 17:41 | Report Abuse
Normally, if a CEO dies, there may be knee jerk reaction to share price, but for CSL this does not happen becoss the price is at rock bottom, and investors can see for themselves.

Apple stil very much alive, and same thing, apple also starts buying back its own shares.

Nobody expect Steve Job to pass away suddenly too? In the corporate world people come and go, no one is indispensable. CSL can easily name a replacement with any tom, dick or harry, but it does not?

Datuk waits to pounce on 19.5 to 20 sen, hope your wish is fulfilled.
2013-10-16 16:41 | Report Abuse
At 22 sen, any problems with the company has been factored in, now risk is very low, compare with the competitor - Asia File Bhd the PE ratio is 1 versus 10 times. Long term holding on CSL will likely see capital appreciation. If dividend is 2.5 sen tax exempt, return is still better than FD interest, therefore I am putting my FD on CSL in the long run. With FKT GTI as auditor, I have my trust - Has anyone heard bad news of this auditor before?
2013-10-14 16:33 | Report Abuse
Looks very strong support at 22sen.
2013-10-14 12:05 | Report Abuse
Why are you so no thinking, if there is no cash, long ago CF will have called for a rights issue, Xidelang is callig for rights cum bonus shares now.
2013-10-11 11:19 | Report Abuse
Now that the CEO is gone, it does confirm something - why Lead Champions was selling the shares? Probably, the CEO has been sick for quite sometimes and for some reasons wanted to liquidate his interests in Lead Champions.
2013-10-10 11:28 | Report Abuse
WAHAHA, what's the connection between them?
2013-10-10 10:35 | Report Abuse
Previously, someone is there to shortsell and then buy back. Now there is little short selling. If you shortsell now probably you may get caught at the end of the day.
2013-10-10 10:10 | Report Abuse
Trading patterns on CSL also have changed. Previously, you can even sell at 22 sen and at the end of the day buy back at 21 sen. Also the queueing volumes have changed.
2013-10-10 09:19 | Report Abuse
If datuk's estimate is correct that CF still holds 74%, then if the company is privatised, this will benefit him the most. I have repeatedly mentioned the trust I placed on the auditors is very important. They have been repeatedly reappointed every year. I have lost money on CSL, but at this price of 20 - 22.5 sen, I have bought in to average my holding costs. Also I did mentioned I have worked together with the auditors before.
2013-10-09 16:43 | Report Abuse
The cash is so massive, based on earnings of 20 sen per share. The cash generated per year exceeds RM 200 millions. If you say 20 or 30 millions is missing might be true but 1 billion go missing then all will be bankrupted.

Datuk, I remembered you mentioned the complexities on inheritance tax in China and today announce the passing of CEO. Are these two issues connected. Plan A suppose to push up the share price, plan B emerged becos of the sudden demised.
2013-10-08 16:59 | Report Abuse
Yep, lock up your purchases, if every year dividend is 2 sen still better than put into FD.
2013-10-08 16:42 | Report Abuse
Datuk, is it possible to get a list of the major shareholders of CSL on aquarterly basis and publish this.
2013-10-08 16:35 | Report Abuse
Actualy CSL is managed by Hongkies, and ifyousays that despite all the pairing down by Lead Champion Group, CF stillhold 74% then there is bigproblem with Bursa reporting. CF is so kind to let everybody to own a prize asset.Even better than BR1M, everybody must buy and hold on for the long term.

Where are the corporate raiders at market capitalisation of RM 280 millions, buy and takeover you get 1 billion in cash and easiy reap RM 500 million in profit.
2013-10-07 15:26 | Report Abuse
THis also raises the question of where the IPO monies had gone, and what is worse is CSL sell the pelikan shares in order to use the money to pay the recent dividends and use the balance to buy back its own shares.
2013-10-07 15:15 | Report Abuse
Datuk, one question - as major shareholder and can influence decision, why would you sell your shares at say 21 to 35 sen when you know the cash backup per share is 85 sen. IF you are the major shareholders you can always declare a cash dividend per share of 35 sen and still hae 50 sen left.
