it is clear the buyers & sellers are in cahoot

is quite distressing to observer that retailers being taken for ride, specifically by analyst with vested interest. Numerous times I have written back to this analyst, which gave me the impression that they are to just hype up shares price by exponential conjunctures

Today at scomi group agm it was told that for scomi engineering they have not won any project since July 2014, and had loss the last 5-6 monorail projects in Cairo, Saudi Arabia, Kerala, Indonesia, delhi..

The CEO mentioned that Oil & Gas looks bleak, transportation is very competitive, only marine service their is some bright spot. I might sell on rally and buyback later around 13 cents.

IOI Corporation Bhd ( Financial Dashboard), Perdana Petroleum Bhd ( Financial Dashboard) and SapuraKencana Petroleum Bhd (SKPetro) are at risk of being designated as “non compliant” when the Securities Commission(SC) publishes its semi-annual review of Shariah compliant securities at the end of November, according to RHB Research.

In its research note today, RHB said that it expects the three companies to be designated as non-compliant as they each have debt that exceeds 33% of their total assets, which is against the Syariah Advisory Council of the SC’s requirement that debt should not exceed 33% of a company’s total assets .

RHB Research explained that investors in “Syariah compliant securities” which are subsequently re-classified as “Syariah non-compliant” are required to dispose of the stocks within a month, unless the market price is below investment cost.

company management is a bit dodgy but recently they have hired some young turks (which includes rais yatim's son) under the tutelage of his younger son.

Since taking over as CEO almost two years ago, his eldest son Robin has not made any major changes to the board but has made changes at senior management level

Tan is seen as an asset trader. He will buy if he thinks the prospects are good and sell if the price is right, he once owned LRT system provider - MTrans but sold it when it suffered losses now rename Scomi Engineering. He might push the price low to 0.45 & take it private at 0.50... more to come

not a formal news but rather my assumptions, EPF wanted MBSB to be part of the merger for their support/vote for this merger. Now CIMB can drop MBSB & proceed with RHB or even consider other merger proposal with Ambank, because ANZ bank is interested in selling...
