In the announcement details, it is stated that the company does not use a new type/class of shares for the plan, which means it is very likely that the company will use the existing shares that are already traded in the market to reward its employees. In other words, there will be no creation of new shares that may potentially dilute earnings.

I've been observing this forum for quite a while (have been buying Ranhill share since 2020, so you can roughly guess the face value of my holding), and I realise how hard you both promoting this stock. It's certainly intriguing that the stock price of a company such as this, which recorded healthy profits for almost each quarter, failed to shoot up. It truly pains me so much to see other companies that consistently operate at losses but whose stock prices keep on soaring. Thus I come to a conclusion that Ranhill share is not ‘sexy’ enough in the eyes of the short & medium term investors. Finally, I content myself to receiving dividends & treat it as a long term, retirement investment.
Regardless, I really hope what you @NatsukoMishima said is true, that the price will rebound after Pulai & Simpang Jeram by-election. After all, the federal government’s image saw a remarkable improvement ever since yesterday after our dear PMX let the DPP dropped Zahid’s 47 court cases. What a spectacular move to clear the cabinet of the court cluster haha truly thinking out of the box I wonder if the idea came from Rafizi’s genius formula.

And keep that person with 47 court cases on the TPM seat, with all other umnoputra at large (in the GLC & statutory bodies)? No, i'd rather protest silently by staying home. This 12/8 is only at state level, any kind of result won't impact the federal government (already had 2/3 majority). But the message we're going to send is clear: we don't want corrupted leaders at the ministerial seats.

Most likely because they want to inflate the stock price more, then subsequently sell the share back at a relatively higher price. As far as i know, Tabung Haji has been holding a lot of UEMS shares since a long time ago. Surely they won't dispose them at a discounted price, will they? A better strategy is to drive the price up before disposing them (like what's happening now).

Kuala Lumpur, 27 July 2023: The Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Rail (KL-SG HSR)
Request For Information (RFI) briefing received an overwhelming response from over 700
representatives from local and international companies, as well as foreign missions, today.
Hosted by MyHSR Corporation Sdn Bhd (MyHSR Corp) at the auditorium of the Ministry of
Finance in Putrajaya, the briefing provided an overview of the RFI process, including the
timeline for local and international firms as well as consortia to submit concept proposals for
the KL-SG HSR project based on a public-private partnership model.

The concept proposal stage will start from the distribution of the RFI Documents from 11
August up to the closing date of 15 November for the submission.

During the briefing, MyHSR Corp shared that the project structure would be based on the
Design-Finance-Build-Operate-Transfer (DFBOT) model, and participating firms and
consortia must demonstrate the ability to develop this project with a proven track record,
technical expertise, resources, and project management capabilities in order to complete this
major infrastructure development within the budgeted cost, quality, and time.

It seems that the Farm Fresh milk is out of stock even in Rompin, Pahang, the very district where its factory is located. I asked around at the grocery shops the other day. They say the consignments have not been delivered for about a month now. Why does this happen? Too busy striving for market penetration elsewhere that they forget about the existing customers? Or is it true that the production has been disrupted?

Doesn't seem like a shooting star to me. The volume is healthy. The sentiment is good. It seems the HSR proposal is under way tomorrow. Anyhow, better wait to see the candles for a few more days before deciding to hold or to take profits.

Normally people pump and then dump. Weirdly in ranhill's case, people dump, wait for the price to tank, and then buy back. Want to get a hand on the stock cheaply? No way. I'll hold.
