oic. I was registered as theedgemalaysia.com user and thinking to read the full story about it.

lcng123 Yes. I am surprising when read MKH can harvest FFB about 20 tons/hectare (with total of 15,000ha planted area at the current tree age and even some are at immature stage). Some plantation companies only can hit up to 16~18 tons/hectare with the tree age of 7~10 years. MKH is excellent. By the way, Shrobin, can you give the link where you read such info. from the EDGE?

Yes. I do expected a amazing Q4 result next week. At least their plantation income is a extra bonus compare to previous years. More and more planted trees going to be matured years coming.

Just wait and see the latest financial result. I don't think the result will good. Just look at the other plantation companies who have announced their financial result, you will know that.

I think all the FFB and CPO monthly output outside Malaysia is not control by Malaysia government, and of course their monthly export and stock balance is excluded in calculation.

No doubt TDM is a good company. Once upon a time, it was my favourite counter, but as well as CPO price in low price level, it was hardly to submit a good financial result and so the price was unable to persist in high level.

MKH's plantation estate was in Kalimantan, so they no need to report to Bursa Malaysia.

You bought at 1.80 before bonus/split ? it was dump low price. I bought at 2.90 before bonus/split and sold all at 0.97 after bonus/split. At 0.97, it was equivalent to 5.82 before bonus/split. At 2.90, TDM's result was good, and now at 1.00, TDM's result was too bad.

who know how to check the MKH's FFB and CPO monthly output?
2013-11-20 13:07 | Report Abuse
you are right Susuan. We have to compare the current price with the price before bonus and share split. Furthermore, look at the recent TDM's financial result, how it can worth for it?

Agreed with both of you. I have invested in plenitude a couple of years and looking on his cash kept increasing at the current level of RM396mil, if exit this counter now, it was unfair to us. As a long term investor, we have the right to enjoy the huge cash. The major shareholders should do something on the cash.

Major shareholder Mr. Ngu sold 1.3mil share today and another major shareholder Anne Kung hold zero share after sold 3.5mil share on 15 Nov.

I am worry that if you cabut from this counter now, you might not have the chance to buy back. Rm396mil cash is waiting for you...... You have cash RM1.47/share with current price at RM2.54/share.

As at 30Sep2013, Plenitude has RM396Mil cash. I am wondering how they are going to utilize so huge cash? keeping it in the bank and trust fund for just 3-5% return? During the EGM, they do not mentioned about the huge cash. For those who kept this counter for a couple of years, if we exit now, we may lost the chance to enjoy the huge cash. Since they can submit a good financial result every year, I am prefer to wait and see... at least to enjoy some portion of RM396Mil cash.

I bought it at 4.00 on Mar 2010 and already received 4 times dividend (35sen + 35sen + 39sen + 32sen). With total shares 64Mil, may be it will declare bonus issue soon.

What I mentioned is true. Look at the latest Q1 and Q2 result, you will know how TDM perform at this moment. Do you think TDM worth 80sen at EPS 0.59sen (2Q earnings, loss in Q2 2013). Plantation is the TDM major business, only CPO price up can help TDM perform well, BUT when CPO price will up?

Plenitude will held AGM on 31 Oct. Those who attend the AGM, please raise up a question why Plenitude kept high cash for a couple of years. They just sold 15 parcels of land in KL and received RM49.2 Mil cash. If no further investment plan, please request them to give us higher dividend.

In fact, at this current price, TDM was overvalued. The 2013 Q2 result will be out soon, I can foresee the result will be poor compare to Q1. Look at the newest result announced by other plantation counters, all of them got poor result compare to previous.

TDM Q2 production output (compare to Q1) : FBB drop 15%, CPO drop 9% and PK drop 19%. Look at June output, I don't think Q3 will be improve. Right now, TDM finacial result (RM14.2M X 4 = RM56.8M) was the lowest for the past 5 years.
2012: RM149.0M, 2011: RM214.9M, 2011: RM129.2M,
2009: RM77.5M, 2008: RM140.7M
If based on last year lowest price @ RM3.20 (before bonus and share split), the TDM price should be drop to RM0.53

The 2013 Q2 result will be announce in August. You all better wait and see. Unless the healthcare business get better, otherwise the result worse compare to Q1 (5.75sen/6 = 0.96sen). Platation business will be getting bad due to lower output and lower CPO price.

I bought TDM on 18/09/13 at RM3.65 (before bonus & share split). At that time TDM EPS was 16.22sen. I sold partially at RM4.33 and RM5.05. Finally I sold all at RM0.97 (RM0.97 X 6 = RM5.82) 2 days ago. With EPS 5.75sen (2013Q1), TDM was overvalued at current price. Look at calculation below: TDM 2013Q1 net profit was RM14,196,000, yearly will be 14,196,000 X 4 = RM56,784,000. EPS = 56,784,000 / 1,481,661,680 = 3.8sen/share. PE = 90/3.8 = 23.7.
2013-07-26 15:38 | Report Abuse
Do you all think TDM worth RM0.90? If you calculate back before TDM bonus issue and share split, the price will be RM0.90 X 6 = RM5.40. Do you think TDM worth RM5.40 at current situation with lower monthly production output and CPO price stood at RM2,158. EPS at 2013 Q1 was 5.75sen, the 2013 Q2 will be lower than this.

Upon open an trading account, You will be given a trust account and you need to bank in your fund before trading. The balance of fund in trust account can even enjoy interest of 2.6% pa. Tomei hit RM0.945 on 17/02/2012. This stock EPS 22.5sen in FY2011 with low PER 3.33. The financial result in Q3 2012 (will be announced in Nov 2012) will be excellent due to Hari Raya Puasa (you may refer to Q3 FY2011) and gold price shooting up recently. Hopefully the share price will shoot up later.

I didn't said what analysts said is correct. I Just worry FGV has a lot of mature and old palm oil tree and need to be replanted. This will caused FGV not able to generate profit for next 5 years.
2012-09-10 16:56 | Report Abuse
FGV drop below RM4.70. As Analysts said FGV has a lot of mature palm oil tree and need to be re-planted. The re-planted job incurs high expenditure and then at least 3 years loss in book plus another 2 years breakeven. FGV only be able to generate profit after 5 years. Like MKH, thhey started plant palm oil tree in Year 2009 and till Q2 2012, they still facing loss in Plantation sector. You wanna invest in a company that have to wait for 5 years to get profit or looking for another companies that can generate profit anytime from now.

Diablo88, I agreed wit Jonatan. A good company is NOT necessary a good counter for us to invest. Some companies very strong in generating revenue and gain a lot of profit from business, BUT they are very stingy to share its profit with shareholders. They kept company's money in the book and waiting for the correct time to MAKAN it into their own pocket. They sell their own personal properties to company with higher price. These happen in companies like Dijaya Corp and Kretam.

No matter how, Fajar still got RM925 mil construction projects and 2 property projects worth RM730 mil (Puchong & Sentul) to be launched next few months. We looked at these 2 property projects, the main contractors of these 2 property projects are Fajar subsidiaries construction company, so it can generate higher margin for Fajar. RM730 mil can generate net profit RM73 mil (estimated 10% net profit or may be even more) with EPS 38sen. Whatever loss in FY2012 can cover easly by this margin. Fajar has changed his strategy where construction & property sectors work together to generate higher margin for the group. So I planned to buy in more when price drop further.
