Beats me. Some companies announce during trading, some after trading presumably not to influence the market. But results will affect prices. So what the heck; if not today will affect tomorrow. If the results are available, it should be released immediately. Why wait?

The problem with TM as a dividend-paying counter is that it pays twice a year, unlike Digi which does it every quarter. The next dividend will be after the 2012 results which will be announced in March 2013. The dividend will be paid April or May 2013. This is a tortoise. SIGH.

Do we need so many people in the board? Axiata is only a holding company. The constituent companies have their own board. The number of people in management should also be lean, because the operating companies have full set of people. What synergy the people at axiata have cooked up across the subsidiaries? Cheap calls between them. What else?

I like to see the 5 mins (4:45 to 4:50), very exciting, figures changing. You could see people (could be the same trader) putting in buy/sell queue at prices no where near what they were just minutes before. I call that "an attempt to manipulate". Why can't it be left alone until closing?
