Yes...the waiting can be very long and a lot of missed chances in the current bull market if funds are tied up. They are collecting at these levels since the announcement but it not easy for them to take over at 3.90 as their majority is not much.

Let me highlight some facts base on 30/9/13 financials...current assets =279 mil, current liabilities=473 mil...working capital shortfall ..+/- 194 mil..deterioration in cash & cash equivalent. The company appears to be facing a cash crunch!

Price is base more on sentiment and is easily manipulated when it is illiquid. I have computed Prkcorp book value as at 31/12/2012 and it is $5.61 and not $4.66 as reported in the annual report. As at 30/9/2013 ( date of last available financials ), the book value has increase to $6.09. This is based on land that had not been revalued for umpteen years. The $3.90 offer is really cheapskate to the minority.

Their only weapon is their threat to delist to force minority to sell to them cheaply.

Qtrly profit up but share price no effect. This company market cap still too low to attract funds. It is one of the most lowly capitalised stocks on the main board bur it's financial is solid. Hope to make some money in the next bull run.

Guys..i have notice that the sharks purposely put a large block to prevent buyers from buying at buyers price. Therefore if you want to buy at buyers price, you need to queue using good till date/cancelled. Otherwise you will have to buy at seller price.

Gemlover..as to your question as to how auditors verify the bank balances, the auditor need to request for a confirmation letter from the bank itself. This letter is signed by an authorised official of the company (CFO) and in view of the substantial amount, the auditor MUST get this confirmation in writing from the bank. Maybe the old auditor didn't get this and got sack !! If the CFO does his job professionally, then we are okay but most time they are yes man.

Gemlover...SC and Bursa will never let you know of their outcome as these are privilege info. However, i am very surprise you did not get a reply !! In fact, they welcome us to provide more info to assist them in their investigation. You may also call them up and they can never reject you outright if you can provide info for them to act on.

Gemlover, the real truth is never told most of the time. I take comfort that i have written to SC and Bursa and i presume there are some links here ( can't be so coincidental ). You can read my earlier postings when i encourage forumers to write to SC and Bursa.

Many forumers try to misled others here. The best is to pressure the SC and Bursa to determine whether the CASH is real. Although SC and Bursa will not let you know the outcome, at least we make sure the pressure is on them to act. I just hope the resignation of the auditor is partly due to the pressure given to SC and Bursa.
