1. Indonesia is the world major producer in palm oil
2. Malaysia comes second
3. Palm oil from Indonesia is much cheaper , so China n India will buy fr them instead from us
4.Our costs r much higher in term of fertilization, costs of harvesting, maintenance , transportation etc
5. Our currency has depreciated more than 20% compared with USD but the oil palm price still remains at 2100 , in actual fact , its actual value is 1680-1700. At this price , our small farmers r bleeding !
6. Our Economy is real bad , no wage increase but prices of most goods , even zero rated or standard , all has been raised to compensate for the initial costs of computer n soft-wares ; with the introduction of GST , it makes matters worst!
7.Many r left with little or no savings , so how to purchase a house over your head?
8.We r very much dependence on oil export, palm oil export ,manufactured goods etc, all came down terribly!
9. Our national debts had soared 740Billion compared with our GDP 250 B , 3 folds in our debts but sorry to say that we r still spending lavishly? How long n how far we may go?
10. Another financial crisis is blooming ....as what many gurus had long predicted.
11. So we should think rationally when investing...just 2c...

EPF n K. Persaraan r minimising losses , so can't blame them for selling coz they must protect all their clients irrespective who r the ones to loose monies . Their clients r waiting for their monies 5,10,15,20,25,30 years from now....

oil palm prices not good, given our currency depreciation of around 20% , actually our oil palm price is 1680-1700 level . When u r comparing the major costs like fertilizers, chemicals, costs of weeding, harvesting , transporting n fertilizing , the balance is very negligible indeed ! These will have a major impact on the earnings received either by small farmer or big plantations; worst for the small farmers where all the costs will be much inflated given the small farm size n lack the economy of scale!

may breach RM 2.00 in no time....just see the trend of selling by big timers...

jackpot is still very attractive given its millions of amount to pay to any lucky winners ; so far black market no jackpot .....

we may see the down -turn for property in years to come ; now ppl r left with nothing to buy any property . Commercial banks r curbing the loans to a max 70 % to property , so if the price is 450k for a property , the max loan is 315k, that means a person must have cash at least a min 135k , everything in will be coming to min 150-160k cash in reserves. Just think how many r strapped with so much cash nowadays ? With the GST around the corner , it will be harder still to own a house . Predictions r properties r going down under no matter what...Just see the outcome in months or years to come....

once GST withdrawn, this counter will be dead.....now voices against GST is louder by the day!

coming qtr prior GST businesses must be very good coz everybody rushing to buy cheaper by 6%....n it will translate into better profits...

some put a brake at 44.5 c but it was cleared with no sweat ,another brake is at 45.5c , once cleared , it may move higher ....

worth to keep for long term prospects ....10 yrs pioneer status still intact , so no tax until 2025, its CAGR of over 41 % fr 2010-24 n net profit grew by more than 50 % the same period ; its future is more assured given that it is the pivotal in LED tech in Malaysian market!

after it touches its low at 8.5c....the possibility of the swing up is much greater after that ....

I think RM 2.00 will break pretty soon!

At RM 3.00 and div is 23.5-26.5 c , where it gives a return of more than 7% , equivalent with EPF , why not? I other Blue Chips shares , u may not get the same or equivalent returns like this one! In good or bad times....

USA had given out warnings on Tech n bio tech stocks, to them , all the related stocks were highly leveraged . With the impending interest hike , the negative side is more apparent than the positive side...just sharing...

if u based on the highest n closing price , the returns will be much less . So , do not trust all the " if " extrapolation....

take div first ....why sell when u r getting div n also its price is the lowest so far...may be another sp div or bonus declared when VT wanted to take private....?
