Sold at 93 sen netting 2 sen gain.

Heard Ho Hup need RI so cannot give more than 1 sen dividend.

Actually Tropicana 218 is not main project. KL or Klang Valley housing projects more important. Penang WorldCity is bigger Penang housing project. Truth is Tan Sri Lim Wee Chai never sold even at recent high 1.06 despite making 14 sen profit.

Earnings not bad. They reward shareholders quite well with regular dividend except unappreciated by market.

Asset basis, its not as undervalued compared to other companies like plenitude, daiman, uems.

Earnings wise, pretty ok-ish but not spectacular comparatively.

The only thing i see is topglove boss factor.

Why do you guys buy in? Or is it mainly punting it, better it will go up over the next week/month?

QR and GE 14 will come soon. Sarawak is still very important state for BN to get votes to retain power.

Share trading is zero sum game. If Stanley Thai is a good businessman he should find ways to turnaround APLI not let it delisted.

Thai and supermax only acquired 16%... the damage has been done even before Thai entered the company which eventually he has to write off... it was a failed company who was trying to find buyers and offload to get the most before it got into PN17... The_Reds 3 important points from the latest QR:
1. Operating expenses still damn high, the management really needs to do some cost control if they want to improve the PAT
2. XOX still holds 32 million of M3tech shares which is equal to RM2.7 million
3. No surprise from this QR, dun expect it will fly in near term

Different case on Stanley Thai insider trading is he support Pakatan despite BN responsible for his wealth and fame.

Parkson don't own shopping malls except in China. Can close stores anytime when tenancy agreement expire and no more profitable. However inventories(shirts, trousers) still belong to Parkson and can move elsewhere or sell cheaper for cash.

Giants closed 5 stores this quarter. Parkson next to follow?

Most shopping malls tenants contract 3 years? After contract over can move out anytime if business no more good?
