Other power generators may sell the power to TNB at agreed rate and then feeding it into TNB grid..

For free-electricity (first x kWH)...govt will subsidize it by paying TNB...or TNB may revise the tariff by pushing the cost to higher energy consumers...

At rm17, c44 should reach 31.5c...

Just went through the C44 details and read today’s i3 blog on tenaga warrants...
C44 looks yummy to me..it’s basically same CIMB warrant to replace C39 which going to expire in due course..
I may start accumulate C44 soon during any bargaining period (expected before GE14). For fund, Now selling C39 in stages (half of my C39 already in sellQ for pass one week)

I was sad when dump all Media @ 1.2x and CI @ 9sen (both with some profit)...but happen to be it was right decision..

Thought of buyback @ 80-90c..but decided to wait QR before buyback..but sadly QR was again big red..

Next thought want to buyback at 50c...but x berani to re-enter...

Now 32sen...Everyday im monitoring..at NTA 69sen..current price is highly discounted...but again depending whether next QR got chance to turn green...

I will wait till Media turn to green again to re-enter..

QR end period 30 April, would be released by mid of June...

Final dividend (usual 0.5-1.0sen) will be declared by mid of May..

Yes...i agree on your point on Astro reduce earning and DY..as long as Astro earning higher than DY, i will hold..otherwise i will sell, like how i sold all BAT and Media once they failed to earn enough to pay dividend...

i accumulating for dividend portfolio...

As of now, Astro EPS still higher than DY (12.5sen or 6.3% @ RM1.97), which is almost same as EPF and PNB return...
so its means Astro fundamentally still strong and capable to pay 12.5c dividend from its earning, not like some stock where paying high dividend but company earning less than dividend payout...

if next QR, Astro's year-to-year EPS lesser than DY, definitely i will sell all Astro stock...

If Astro could maintain dividend payout of 12.5c...then at 1.97, the DY is 6.3%...around the same as EPF and PNB funds..
So, Added up into my dividend stocks portfolio...on top of Astro shares bought during IPO @ 3.00
