In some cases u r right but this chairman sold via esos bulk of it at 2.00, now selling even at 1.63. It is either he doesn't know or doesn't think it will go up to 2.00 again. Btw, there is no holding cost to wait for 2.00 in his case.

Treatment stage make money, distribution at Sybase making losses cos no tariffs increase. Khalid wants to take over on ground that he can still make profit wioutout tariff increase. Of course, one way to make sure he can deliver this is buy the biz at real cheap price!
Kps bought the 60% which it didn't own in 2006 thus making it a subsidiary than just an associated company. But now they r going back to old days of holding less than 50% in gas n prepaid biz which does not befit a listed company.
As I said, no good 4 long term investment, trading buy when low ok.

Just one comment, the value for bridale hotel is much less, around 50-60mil kps will sell but still no buyer. As for sprint, it is in the market kps has bn asking for 120mil since few years back but no-one keen.

The hotels r not doing well, especially bridale hotel. Return is less than 2% on investment in hotels.
The gas biz is a passive investment with only 40% shareholding n no profit so far. The 60% partner is also unknown.
The prepaid phone is also passive investment only 30% n is a sunset industry with all 3G phone popular now, free call available like viber etc.
Development of golf course is subject to kps clear all memberships sold previously which is near impossible given current political scene in selangor.
This counter may be good for short term trading only.

Answer is no, so there's no reason to privatise it for purpose of post water consolidation

Insider info..privatization by kdeb to pass to kps is out. Kdeb has already set up an entity to manage water post consolidation. Mb don't want this to be profit oriented. Free water is to continue. But then again, ijust as the possibility of change of MB, anything changes is possible.
