isn't dropping wheat price is beneficial to flour making company as the cost of making flour gets cheaper and hence better margin?

I quote the write up dated 5 Aug 14 fMalayan Flour Mills - Flourishing ASEAN consumer play:
"MFlour is a beneficiary of the falling grain prices. Grain prices have been on a free fall since May 2014 (wheat: -29% since May, corn: - 30% soybean: -16%) and the supply outlook is pointing towards sustainably low prices. With wheat making up 80-90% of its flour production cost and corn/soybean making up the bulk of its poultry cost, we expect margin expansion to boost its earnings."

So dropping wheat price shouldn't contribute to the drop of Mflour share price.

Yes Tom..warrant is risky..as long as u have made profit..it is good enough

if they announce 6 sen dividend, the share will not drop this way.
Nevermind, it is a good company, just wait for the next quarter.

According to press release about Mflour a few months back, the plant in Indonesia should be (hopefully) operating this quarter. I hope its performance in Indonesia will be good.

based on past trends should be on 20/8 or 21/8...it seems most mflour investors are looking forward to the coming financial results and hopefully dividend announcements

yes..agree with your comment samcghee..it is quite hard to find other type of investment..i have sold some mflour but I dunno what to buy..waiting to buy back mflour below RM2.00
