利兴工业从柔佛消防和救援部门总行接获信函，指4月初麻坡厂房的火患属于意外。
该公司通过文告表示，火灾所引起的损失估计达630万令吉，其中包括存货亏损、厂房、机械和其他设备的修复成本。
利兴工业在这起火患中的损失赔偿结果已在评估的最后阶段。同时，公司亦已正式收到早前所公布的180万令吉首批损失赔偿。

（麻坡26日讯）同安家具（TAFI，7211，主版消费产品）耗资逾1400万令吉增建厂房及增购先进机械与器材，以应付国际买家大量采购的需求。
公司执行主席拿督苏永源今日在股东大会后向媒体表示，目前已接洽到一国际买家订购该公司生产家居家具，包括卧房与客厅系列。
“有关洽谈已进入尾声，预料将在未来几个月签署采购合约，明年1月正式供应。”
他说，同安家具已在柔勒工业区兴建一座新厂房及增购先进机械。
这项提升产能的计划耗资约1400万令吉，包括建厂及增加机械外，以及提升现有厂房的机械，加强生产率，以全面应付国内外买家在质与量方面的需求。”
同安家具于2012年面对160万令吉亏损，因此去年经过一番开源节流举措，包括减少人员、提高生产率及调整与选择市场需求后，带动公司2013年的业绩转亏为盈，税前盈利为22万7000令吉。
他说，该公司之前脱售位于士毛月的产业后，目的是要把业务集中在麻坡，以提高运作与营理效率。
联营建公寓计划
提及公司与地主联营建公寓计划，苏永源指出，一名地主已答应发展柔州境内一市中心4亩地段，兴建公寓与独立式洋房，有关洽谈已晋入比率分配最后阶段，同时也得到一建筑公司的合作。
他补充，一旦定案后，将会发布消息，让股东了解公司这项业务的详情。
“这项屋业发展计划预料将带来显著营业额，有助公司业务成长，因而对未来业绩表现充满信心。”
