CPO future for July 2022 is RM7000 and many IB analyst still give commend on plantation stocks NEUTRAL. IB analyst just ignore that foreign funds bought plantation stocks since February till now.

Since the Ukraine war began, the sunflower output will drop at least 40% to 50% but the IB purposely ignore the news and still predict that the CPO price for 2nd half 2022 is RM3000 to RM3500.

Bursa Malaysia should impose new law that those investment bank analyst predict the price of CPO or commodities wrong by more than 25% should public on national newspaper to apologise for their mistake. if not they will continue to spread the wrong information to mislead investors. IB are wrong about CPO price since two years ago till now and they still predict that CPO price by 1st quarter of 2023 is RM3000 and RM3500.

Yes western countries still use ESG to downplay palm oil but but due to super shortage they are quietly buy a lot. Malaysia March export palm oil showed that europe increase import 48% palm oil from Malaysia. They have no choice.

Dickyme, you calculation is wrong. If India increase 800,000 ton rapeseed oil as you said but Ukraine war has caused sunflower output less 30% to 40% about 12 million ton!! I think the estimate is still too optimistic.

CPO future is transact by real money in real business world. the price reflect the actual supply and demand and NOT imagination of IB analyst or daydreamer.

Many investors invest base on IB report therefore they are not buying plantation stocks. This will affect the price of plantation stocks.

Today Nanyang Business News page 5, a Silly investment bank report advise to reduce invest in plantation stocks. I will keep this article, if December 2022 and CPO price is 10%+- today price then I will write to this investment analyst and ADVISE him/her not to write about plantation stocks in the rest of his/her life because knowledge about plantation is almost zero and mislead investors
