The point is if the block investor did not see the potential & value of GP , he will not spent 48 million to buy the 6% share in off market deal

The conversion of warrant is no more attractive now as you can buy the mother share at a cheaper price from the open market

For a block buy of 6% from open market in a short time frame, the price will shoot up too fast on halfway buying ..could the buyer be Tencent or a China investor will remain a guess in the market

I think this operator is a bit tricky and seem that they can easily push up or down on the pricing as majority of share being accumulated under their hand, the share price under correction when KLCI index is up and suspect that they want to play it up when the index is under correction. In the correction phase whoever want to exit already done so and when everybody buy and hold the share for their future prospect this will reduce the share resistance in next up cycle. Let's hope and see if CCPuan and GP management will reward the shareholder handsomely in the next cycle up.

This could be the main purpose for the huge volume accumulation...just a matter of time the share price be fired up...

Thx for sharing the valuable information on digital bank but in any business there is an exposure of risk and gain and in any new investment the successful of new venture will depend very much on talent , connection , resources , know how , expertise and do not forget the market trend and environment. The future trend is no doubt on digital technology worldwide which supported by the government policy and indeed speed up by the Covid-19 pandemic. GP business is covering worldwide market and it was listed in sillicon valley USA 20 years back by the founder CCP. Do analyse if GP fit into the criteria of a successful business model and potential of the new venture. I will give a vote of confidence to GP & CCP to invest in his company share.

Now we know reason behind CCPuan & company director purchase their own company share prior to this announcement. The timing of announcement is perfect as Dow Jones rebound with the announcement of FED reserve financial aid and jump in US retail sales figure.

It appear that the huge listing is well absorbed ..could it be shark accumulating anticipating the good quarterly result and digital licence

Another good news that GP tender for digital bank licence with Tencent China as partner stand good advantage as Tencent have Wechat Bank , digital bank need technology and know how to ensure proper running of the business

For those chasing warrant when mother share price at peak and now converted will sell at a losing price..just wonder the warrant converter is mainly retailer or corporate player. I think the price pushing is in the plan for fund raising & hope that the conversion will stop soon.

@ Striker90 Very well analysis at the angle of 10% pp fund raising , another issue is if u r the banker would u push the price sky high for the stake holder of newly converted share to escape? Remember that the listing is 27 million share , 5 times of Friday listing.

This batch is 5x more than the listing size on last Friday, hope that there is no more new conversion which form a selling resistance to the price movement

Must clear 27 million newly listed share so expect drop in morning and only when this big block clear in afternoon will move. Most likely trend like last Friday..

If he want to sell down will spoil his reputation for fund raising as a private placement of 10% is in progress ..furthermore he had dispose all his warrant as announced in 2019. His share holding will make him richer if the co share price increase in value. Just watch for the support level of 69.5 sen if it hold well then it is good for reverse trend . Just my 2 sen opinion...
