@quahsb - last year april unisem is trading at 1x to 2 only...now 7.9 boss.

When Unisem was earning 33million , the share price is Rm2xx-3, when the profit increased to 60million, share price shoot up 200% ++ and people still expected share price to shoot more because profit will increase, but don't you think price is up too fast?

Now proven the earning is slowing down and in fact reduce to 45million already. people still thinking now at RM7+ is still cheap. kidding.

the covid will not have serious impact on CU because government promise will not impose strict MCO. So, people in town will still be able to visit CU. the only impacted industry is airline....

Unisem was 3.80-4.00 when it earned 50million net profit. Then price goreng up to RM8-9 which is 100% or doubled already. then latest earning was 60million net profits. about 20% growth. Yes. good fundamental. got money got grow. but traders lagi good. goreng up more ,earlier and faster.

Unfortunately , very less research house give target price for Geshen, thus , most retailers don't come and buy. But, if you do homework yourself, you will realize Geshen business is back with solid fundamental. the recent price up should be accumulation by fund manager or Banker. they will soon release report for buy call when they want to sell.

from historical result, VIS profit is not stable. Current good profit may not be sustainable. Be careful. Risk to too high than reward

@quahsb , yes , fundamental is ok. but valuation is too high. the current drop is healthy. However, now 7.90-8.00 is still risky. Especially if the next quarter did not grow as expected. i sold 70% already to reduce my risk.

Unisem is over-valued fundamentally. FA is turning bad now. be cautious

Geshen is able to earn 4 cents above in a quarter now. meaning the new product is able to generate good profit for the company. One year will be around 16 cents. Usually this EPS will bring the price to RM2-RM4 for this industry

profit growth is slower than price grow. in term of valuation, Unisem is at high side. so, new buyers is not advised to chase high. Of coz those bought at low will tell you, buy! very cheap.

the trend is over. the fundamental is also over.

Revenue is super overbought as the price is all-time-high but the revenue/profit is expected to be still lower than the peak time. Price run too fast than profit. not sustainable. People goreng due to fund raising news which doesn't mean price should shoot up if fundraising.

i think VIS is overbought. be cautious
