In Salamander report, also mentioned that they had not found big reserve area as compared to the existing ones at Greater Bualang. Some explorations also failed to produce results including explorations at southern Greater Bualang

The 2 explorations areas at the northern side which Sona is paying is said to have good potential against the southern areas

I guess we need to read full annual report to analyse the actual cause of losses by Salamander

1. the Greater Bualang oil field which sona is buying, is the major income generator for Salamander - 85% contribution to Salamander's earning

2. Salamander also incurred exploration cost and other costs in Indonesia, Thailand etc. That could be the reason why Salamander incurred losses and need to part sell their profitable oil field to cover their losses

3. Sona is buying the profitable oil field only, Bualang field.

I think need to read Salamander annual report to understand more

once more news spread, more hungry buyers

Sona is hot now. EPS 9.1 sen, PE 5.3 post acquisition. It truly deserves better valuation. PE 13-15x perhaps?


How truth is the figure??? EPS 9.1 is super high. I douth that good. but wait for sona's report
