Maybank current revenue per quater is 11 billion more than double pbbank's. 4 times 2008 revenue at 3billion. The growth pace is phenomenal, pbbank not bad also but just double. If looking at growth or future prospect, maybank trading PE should be much much higher. Because maybank net profit can be easily 2-3 billion per quarter, just need to fine tune the operation to be more efficient.

I have checked out foreign banks, surprisingly, I have found no banks yet to have more than 6 % dividend other than Maybank. This is amazing how maybank is so undervalue.

As for EPF's trading practices is alarming to be honest. EPF need to invest with people's money not speculate or engage in phony trading activities that benefit friends and families. I'm not surprise if one day news broke out EPF lose a ton of people's money. Government better have an independent institution to audit the dang EPF before it gotten to a point of no return.

if you bring maybank PE to pbbank level, maybank should worth RM 9.31.

So it's either pbbank is severely OVER valued. or maybank is severely UNDER valued.
