Hi Connie, I am not on the internet most of the time, so my response to your chart may be a bit slow. SPX will need to overcome the ascending triangle resistance line (set in mid January) first. Wow, from your chart I can almost see a rising wedge formation if you consider the price pattern from 7 Feb to today. Heheheh! But no need to panic yet.

The S&P500 has taken out the 2752 level. Gapped up in fact. Looks like it is heading towards 2800. I don't like the gap however; it makes me uneasy.

O&G companies are feeling the pain at current oil price levels. Let's face it: oil is not going to go over 60USD a barrel for the next few years. There is just too much supply. With solar energy getting cheaper by the day there can only be more downward pressure on oil prices. The pain continues.
