What Marsidi did actually will backfired Sabah economy. Instead of spurring Sabah economy in oilngas by supporting industries e.g hotels, transportation, support services, banking, Marsidi threat poses opportunities to Labuan and Miri, Sarawak.

Marsidi and his team had a meeting regarding SST with Petronas. We sont have a clue why Marsidi didnt drag Tommy Thomas into this. Marsidi argued that Petroleum companies including Petronas should comply with Sabah Land Regulation 2020.
The problem is Petronas and Sabah already had an agreement way after independent. Petronas agreed ro give royalties to Sabah.
Petronas continue to give until now.
The problem with Sabah Land Regulation is you need a body to execute and enforce their regulation. Sabah state is divided into smaller districts. Local council enforce their regulation. If you have dispute, you can argue in court.
I have dozens of parking tickets in Kota Kinabalu and I havent paid a sen until now. And their parking tickets are not Fed offence. So, I am happy here sleeping, snoring every night like a pig.

Nicholas, you are right. US is now lobbying others to join them put price cap on Urals Oil. There are 2 problems here.
1 What happens if they buy Russian oil at capped prices and resell them back to market at higher price in US Dollar. Will this help world crude oil prices down? This will drive US Dollar even higher and things will get more expensive. Inflation will skyrocket.
2 Russia can retaliate by not selling their crude oil and their reserves will keep on increasing. Russia then can sell their reserves at much cheaper price in distant future which will drive US Dollar down. US market will crash.

BobAxelRod, Federal Regulation on Immigration and work permit does not apply to East Malaysia. Whoever wants to work there must have work permit there.
But Hibiscs oilfields have been there for 30 years already. Hibiscs uses locals there.
They even catch JAWS and make pickles on their offshore platform man!!

Thanks for your info. There is only 1.9milbbl left a week before. WTI oil also rising extraordinarily and closing the gap on Brent oil which means refineries drawing a lot of crude oil from their inventory.

There are 7 initiatives to lower gasoline price in US. 3 of them made no progress. US Energy Secretary conceded current gasoline price hike due to Biden hastily Green energy transition and Ukraine War.
The other 4 initiatives may take a least one year to see bear fruits.

From today onwards till next week, crude oil prices will rise again amid;
1. US crude oil inventory will need replenish and running low around 1.8mil bbl.
2. An emergency meeting on Thursday (today EST) between major US oil refiners e.g. Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron CEOs and Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm also failed to produce concrete solutions to reduce oil prices, but the two sides agreed to work together.
Granholm conceded that high crude oil prices was caused by US Government decision to clean energy transition and;
Biden admitted the effect of Ukraine - Russia conflict adding further to higher crude oil prices.

US has been using economic sanctions all these years on small countries. Countries which unable to defend themselves militarily and economically.
When US impose economic sanctions on Russia, it was a big mistakes. And EU is dumb enough to follow US.
Putin has bee planning to do something about atrocities by Ukrainian facists for 8 years. Russia has been accummulating wealth quietly and play dumb even US doesnt have the clue on Russia's intention.

A girl from Russia Head Treasury, Elvira is her name come out ways how to beat US sanctions. US and EU needs uranium, titanium, crude oil, gas and etc. They have to have them. They thought Russia economy will collapse since nobody trade in rubles.
Instead, Elvira suggested that any countries want to buy crude oil and gas from Russia, they need to open an account with Gasprombank and pay in USD or EU then Gasprombank will convert USD and EU to rubles. Rubles novedived intitially but bounced back and become stronger ever since. Strongest so far.
Money transaction with SWIFT were banned but Russia open many accounts with PRC and create SPIEF.
Air travels were banned using Russia plane but PRC offers Russia with their plane. Now Aeroflot can fly everywhere..

Dont catch a falling knife. This falling knife is so strange. It keeps falling since 24thMay until today. CYPARK with cashflow problem only have 2 days falling knife. ATAIMS only one day and circuit breaker triggered.
If you sell now, you realised your losses. If you buy now, your losses will increase 2 fold or more since you added more no of shares in your holding.
There are times we trade and there are times we stay away. Pls look on other stocks and try make money to recover your shrunk holdings. Who knows in future, you will get your money back and we pray you will make more then.

I hate to say this. I made a formal complaint to SC regarding this. Bursa revert and informed me that they have short circuit in place but obviously, IB, shortsellers and bears found ways to go around it. What is happening now is against short selling ethics and fair stock trading.

Here my tips to all. We have no clear indication where and when hibiscs found the bottom yet. It would be best we stay out of hibiscs for awhile until hibiscs shows sign rising again. Only then I suggest we averaging down.
Meanwhile, I also suggest we look elsewhere to make some earning.
