dompeilee, SAPNRG was making money at 2015. now it is looking at a few more Q of lose until 2019. oil price go up but Malaysia cut production as part of OPEC. so not much project, their expensive asset sitting idle while being heavily in debt. this is what dragging down the price. sure the company had alot of asset but now they are not very productive.

oil going up does nothing to help sapura. Opec is pushing up the price by cutting production, malaysia committed to cut together with OPEC. while OPEC cutting production the higher price just going to put more non-OPEC production online and keep pressure on the price. US shale would never be controlled, they are pumping out as much as they can a long as it is profitable under current market price. the higher the market price goes to more rig will go online.
