Probably less selling pressure as most traders, investors, etc are leaving for this holiday season.
They should be back on 4/1/2021

I think the best valuation for glove counters is post Covid-19 and after 2024 where demand is expected normalise, though still much higher then pre-Covid-19.
My take is pre-covid-19 , world demand is approximately 260 bil per annum in 2019
Post Covid-19, world demand should be somewhere between 350 bil to 370 bil per annum in 2024 onwards.

Supply side by 2024 from Top 5 largest and small players worldwide may come in between 110-130 bil per annum.

Based on this estimation, demand will almost offset the large incoming supply in 4 years time. Possible small oversupply of 20bil-25 bil per annum which may cause ASP to normalise toward USD35-USD45 level which is 50%-80% higher pre-covid 19 ASP.

I disagree.
I believe charting is as important as financial analysis.
Using both method yielded impressive results for me.

I still don't get it why ppl are still debating on glove vs vaccine, sell or buy glove.

Get a life all of you.

Know your investment principle that had been perfected, ignore the noises, buy or sell whatever stock as you see fit.

No justification required because you are the specialist in your investment.

At the end of the day, your portfolio grows or shrinks, look at yourself in the MIRROR, the answer lies there.

Buy a stock based on your understanding not from others.
Learn to do your own valuation and be good at it.
Prove to others than you do not require to follow the herd.
Buy or sell at your own judgement as it is your own hard earned money.
Unless somehow, you received a large donation of USD600 mil.

@KYY
Higher EPS of Supermax does not mean, the company is better than Hartalega , Topglove or Kossan.

Factors such as no of share issued is also a consideration. Topglove issued more shares which has a larger denominator than Supermax, thus the lower EPS.
If Topglove has the same no of shares issued as Supermax, the current EPS would be more than RM1.0.

Rather the focus should be the company's annual net profit

Actually back then before CNY 2020, Supermax was trading at lower PE of 12 as compared its peers: Topglove (pe=30), Kossan (pe=25), Harta (pe=45)

It's more like investor began to see that it's undervalued and the PE now is reflecting better than previously.

for those in 10th floor, I suggest keep the stock, enjoy the company's large expansion to 40++ bil glove production in 2 years, get rewarded with dividends and bonus issues in the future if you believe the company's long term growth.

Unless, you have desperate need to use the money you had put into this counter.

Good write up.
Simple and on the spot.
It's really up to individual investor to decide their entry & exit.
Long term investors > 5 years normally do well.

Unlike KYY who is not an investor as he seems more like a trader which I do not recommend as there is volatility in the short term nature of glove stocks and pharma stocks.

Whoever prefers to buy vaccine, buy pharma related counters
Whoever prefer gloves, buy glove counters.
Whoever think both are good, buy both pharma and gloves
Whoever think both are over, sell everything

I don't see the point of arguing over it.

Expected this to happne when you rush to develop this vaccine in 6 months which normally takes at least 2-3 years and some 4-5 years.

I'm fairly confident that after the vaccine is developed, very few ppl will want to be vaccinated as they are afraid of the unknown adverse affects of it.

Just like software release of Alpha/Beta version, most ppl would wait for the official release.

@Airline Bobby

You're another individual negative of glove based on all your comments.
I'm publishing based on facts and I did not give a timeline as no one knows.

One key point for sure is WRP Asia case took 6 months to revoke, thus is a good benchmark since Topglove had engaged the same consultant that helps WRP Asia to solve the same issue.

You only have 7 comments and mostly negative towards glove.
CBP is enforced by customs department and is govern by the executive order of the President of United States of America.

With new president in placed, commissioner's office will likely be replaced with Biden's team.

To be honest, Monday should be positive for glove stocks as most industry experts are looking at least RM2.4 billion for extraordinary profit taxation.

With no windfall taxation lingering, most investors have peace of mind till 2022 and beyond.

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 6): Top Glove Corp Bhd, Hartalega Holdings Bhd and Supermax Corp Bhd have confirmed that they are donating to the Government’s COVID-19 fund set up to battle the pandemic.

When contacted by theedgemarkets.com, Top Glove said it is donating RM185 million to the fund, while Supermax will be chipping in RM75 million.

Meanwhile, Hartalega said in a statement that it will be contributing RM90 million to the fund.

“This is a corporate social responsibility initiative by Hartalega to make a positive difference in the lives of Malaysians and support the nation’s healthcare sector,” it said.

Their total contributions amount to RM350 million.

This follows the tabling of Budget 2021 this afternoon, whereby Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Aziz announced that that the three glove makers, in addition to Kossan Rubber Industries Bhd, have committed to donate RM400 million to the COVID-19 fund.

The money will be used to cover part of the cost of vaccines and health equipment expenses, said the Minister.
