Based on its outstanding financial performance, if it really hits 40 cents, it will be scoped up instantly.

I bought Slvest very early and already took back the initial capital, so it is ok for me to wait.

It is a decent results as Malaysia was just gradually opening up from lock down.
The Government has announced the extension of the Green Technology Tax Incentives until 2023 in Budget 2020 and introduced income tax exemption of up to 70% for a period of up to 10 years for companies which undertake solar leasing activities. Hope this will encourage more companies to go green and hence more businesses.

Since this will benefit us, then our government should give more incentives in order to encourage more people to adopt solar power for residential properties.
in long run, this will benefit us given that the upfront cost of installing a solar system will be paid back with saving in electricity bills.

@TreeTopView, Good to see you around too.
Thanks for sharing your thought. Much appreciate it.
I have come across some reports which said that the price of the solar PV has dropped due to the increase in supply from China. Hence , just curious if the solar energy will help us to reduce our energy bills.

Anyone know if there is any study done on the impact of the hike in raw material for Solar panel to the energy cost Vs the surge in the oil and LNG prices. Which will have a lower cost?
2022-02-22 11:40 | Report Abuse
As the oil price is so expensive. Solar energy should be a cheaper alternative, right?

QR dropped is due to the lockdown. IMO , SLVEST has AIoT solutions which differentiate it from others, it is an advantage for it to venture to overseas markets.

Frontkn provides precision cleaning to it's major customer. The customer will not switch suppler easily as the cleaning process is very stringent. The less variable the better it is.

Agreed, Slvest and a lot of the good fundamental companies are sold down now. However, punt goreng stock is just like playing musical chairs. You won't know when the music stops.

@TreeTopView Yes, this is the first time it mentioned in the quarterly report. So far Slvest is still growing as per its plan.
All the best to you too. :)

We refer to the announcement dated 1 September 2020 in relation to the Proposed Transfer. On behalf of the Board of Directors of Solarvest, M&A Securities Sdn Bhd wishes to announce that the application for the Proposed Transfer has been submitted to the Securities Commission on 24 May 2021.
This the the company announcement published yesterday. Pending on the Securities Commission approval. I hope should be soon, given that it has met the criteria to be transfered to the main board.

Looking forward for its listing in the mainboard, another milestone of the company we can look forward to. SLVEST also ventures into Vietnam. Good move.

Yes, it's result is good. Moreover, it has 32 patents been granted for 5G and automotive testing applications. The grow prospect is very good.

Occasionally, Penta gives this excitement.
Anyway, it revenue is going back to the pre pandemic level. Despite the lockdown , it has managed its cost well. It is irrational for this sell down, so I think this is an opportunity. The chip replenishment cycle will be coming into play soon.

Yeap , I think so too. The RSI for hourly , daily and weekly charts are oversold. I haven't seen this for a long time.

@RainT Both also good in their own way.
Samaiden is still new , compared with SLVEST, it is smaller in term of revenue. It may well grow to a bigger company later on.
However, for my preference, I like to invest in companies with larger revenue because if there is any headwind in the market, larger companies tend to able to survive.

For the bigger picture, many countries are racing for zero emission by 2050. The target is to keep the global temperature to 1.5 deg C above pre industrial era. If we continue to pump out the emission that cause climate change, the temperature will continue to rise until to a level that threaten our lives eventually. It is a big but inevitable task to replace polluting coal , gas and oil fired power stations with renewable power stations like solar or wind energy. So, this is not because of Biden going green, it is for our survival.
For Malaysia , our government's target to increase the share of renewable energy to 25% in its generation mix by 2025 creates opportunities in renewable energy sector. Solar energy is the cheapest of the renewable energy as we have abundance of sunlight throughout the year. EPCC is the key growth area.
The growth prospect in solar energy is good for at least the next 29 years. So to invest in a good company which is specialized in this field is crucial if we want to reap the rewards from the growth.
I am holding SLVEST because it is one of the stand out listed EPCC service providers in Bursa which have proven capability and track record in carrying out EPCC solar projects. Moreover it is still in net cash position. It also has the management team which is expert in this field. These are the most important criteria for me to invest in a company.
For overseas projects, (i) The Company had on 17 December 2020 incorporated a 99.99% owned subsidiary company in
Philippines with the name Solarvest Corp. (2020120004375-05) with total issued and paid-up share capital of PHP9,726,801 comprising of 9,726,805 ordinary shares. The intended principal activity of Solarvest Corp. is engaged in the business of importation, marketing, sale and distribution of solar photovoltaics and related services.
(ii) On 28 January 2021, Solarvest (Taiwan) Corporate Limited (“Solarvest Taiwan”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Solarvest Energy Sdn Bhd has subscribed an additional 400,000 ordinary shares in the capital of Solarvest Taiwan. Currently, the total issued and paid-up share capital of Solarvest Taiwan is NT$5,000,000 comprising of 500,000 ordinary shares.
It has proposed to be transferred to the mainboard last year by end of 2020 but still pending, not sure if it is because of the corporate exercise of bonus issues causing the delay. If it materializes , It will surely attract more international funds.
I bought and hold SLVEST since it was listed ,the share price is relative to the performance of the company, so I have no intention to sell yet as long as the company is still growing. The above is my humble view of SLVEST. I am no guru or supporter, just a small investor looking for growth company.

@TreeTopView ,spot on. I totally agree with you. I still holding on to my Slvest. It still has plenty of room to grow as every country is going for green energy , especially solar power. Hope it will transfer to main board soon then more funds can come in to buy.

IMO, without the hard work of K1 employees, the company would not be able to transform from hand phone accessories business which have China as a cheap and tough competitor to health care business. No doubt the share price will be damper when they reap their rewards, but this is still their hard work which they deserved. Looking at long term, we will gain as this is the incentive for the employees to work hard for the company, subsequentky the share price will follow the value of the company.
